DUELING OIL CANS…

Kendall sarcastically asks if she interrupted their lube job; when Mia realizes she’s kidding, Kendall says she is, too, if she thinks she can get away with it! She says she was looking for Aidan, but since she found her here playing “Hide the Grease Gun”, suggests they have a little chat. Mia uses a towel to wipe the grease and sweat from Aidan’s bare chest as he tells Kendall that she knows a lot about cars—she’s full of surprises! Aidan goes to get some parts for the engine, and Kendall angrily tells Mia she’s such a cheater, “You can’t glom onto Aidan as your personal Sexiest Man!” Mia accuses Kendall of making up the rules as they go along in their bet. When Kendall protests that she’s been seeing Aidan, Mia notes that she danced around him, just like she did with Boyd, but there’s nothing to it. She brandishes an oil can and tells Kendall it’s loaded, and she doesn’t know any cleaner that will get oil out of her pretty little outfit! They bicker about Aidan, and Mia says she came here to alert him that Michael Cambias is out of jail, but she won him over with her car knowledge. She tells Kendall to chill out, saying Aidan is too messed up over Maureen to have any interest in either of them. Seeing Kendall’s expression, Mia realizes she’s here to put the moves on Aidan, to comfort him and heal his psychic wounds! Kendall insists she’s here to ask Aidan to be her bodyguard. Mia laughs that’s classic, but Kendall says she saw Mia’s cop in the parking lot and he looks like Dennis Quaid, “Mine looks like Quasimodo, but with bad breath!” They’re still arguing when Aidan comes back and says it’s time to clean up; he’s going to grab a beer and go home. Both ladies offer to join him, but he’s not in the mood for company. Seeing that neither of them is going to budge, Aidan shows them where the light switch is, and says the door will lock behind them. When he leaves, the girls pick up where they left off, and it turns into a chase with dueling oil cans!

PLEASE BELIEVE IN ME ENOUGH TO TELL ME…

Bianca says she’s just tired, but Erica pleads with her to tell her what’s troubling her. Bianca sighs that her mom’s put up with so much—her eating disorder, and her sexuality! Erica thinks she is a brilliant, beautiful, wonderful girl who has overcome many difficulties and disappointments to find out who she is, and she admires her! She pleads that, whatever it is, she’s here, and she’ll understand, and maybe be able to make her feel better. When Erica reaches out to touch her hair, Bianca shrinks from her touch as she has another flashback of the attack. She cries out as she slides to the floor, and Erica begs, “Please tell me what happened.” Bianca sobs in her arms as she says she doesn’t want to worry her. When she says she’s been thinking a lot lately about life, Erica agrees she has, too, and this is a very special time! She and Jack are about to get married, and she and Lena are starting a relationship. She goes on that she knows that can be terrifying because she doesn’t know what the future will bring, but whatever happens, they’ll remain as close as a mother and daughter can be. Bianca knows, and thanks her. Erica says she’s about to have the kind of life she’s always dreamed of, and Bianca is such a big part of that. She mentions Bianca’s being her maid of honor, and asks if she and Lena are thinking of some kind of world tour that would keep her away from the wedding? Bianca cries as she says it’s not that; she’s just in a rotten mood and needs to shake it somehow—she’s just been dwelling on the negative! Erica insists that all of their dreams are about to come true, and she’s never felt so light! She thinks she’s finally shed all that baggage she’s been carrying around, the shame she felt from her rape and pregnancy, and everything looks so bright. Bianca smiles through her tears as she says she’s so happy for her.
