From Gloria and Karen, for About.com

LEFTOVERS:

Gloria: I wouldn’t mind Brooke and Justin…maybe. Wonder if they will do a older woman/younger man thing?

Karen: It just may happen. They apparently do have common interests, judging by his comments about the article in Tempo—we’ll just have to wait and see!

Gloria: Wouldn’t that be something? Brooke finally happy with a much younger man and Erica gets the old guy? <grin>

Karen: Why can’t Tad and Liza just admit how they feel about each other and get together?!? Even Juan Pablo has Tad pegged!

Gloria: Because…it’s a soap opera! Drama, drama, drama. Did we talk about Marcy’s new haircut? I love it! Simply, love it!

Karen: Do you think, after all the drama, that Liza and Tad will get together?

Gloria: No, I doubt they will “seriously” do the Liza and Tad thing…I think they are just “toying” with the fans, but then, these two together could bring a ton of fans back to watch.

Karen: It sure would, and isn’t that the point?

Gloria: You’re right!

Gloria: Think Michael would take responsibility and marry Bianca? Oh, my goodness, I can’t believe that even crossed my mind.

Karen: I can’t, either! I don’t think “responsibility” is something Michael is familiar with. But, what if he does think he has some claim on the child?

Gloria: I don’t even want to think about it…let’s hope they don’t go there!

Karen: I think of all the scenes dealing with the aftermath of Michael’s attack, today’s may have touched me the most. Everyone is treating Bianca with the utmost kindness and respect, but the scenes with Maggie gently undressing her friend and supporting her through the medical exam were extraordinary.

Gloria: And could this lead to a romance? Lena and the screaming door scene…a triangle?

Karen: No, I believe Maggie is sincere about wanting Bianca and Lena to be together, and secure enough to be certain she’s not gay… Not that her one encounter with Henry was so memorable! <grin>

Gloria: Well, those B&M fans are hoping! Oh, the Henry thing…big mistake and I’m glad they decided to move on quickly.

Karen: Walt Willey is also giving us some excellent work in the storyline with Bianca—the devastation was plain on Jack’s face when he learned that his niece was Michael’s victim. Erica just couldn’t resist that Atlantic City dig, could she? What a terrible situation for Jack to have these feelings of guilt over both his daughter and his niece…

Gloria: I love Walt Willey…tattoos, dirty jokes and all, so I’m thrilled that he is starting to get more airtime. He’s also my brother’s look-alike, so I might be biased in my assessment of his talent, but I hope not. I heard some rumblings about a new Lily…it’s feast or famine, don’t you think? Jack goes from no children to a ton of kids!

Karen: I love him, too, enough to overlook the tattoos! So, when can I meet your brother???

Gloria: Oh, I’m sorry, I should have said “was” a look-alike when my brother was younger. He’s been dead for a number of years now.

Karen: I read that Michael is going to be killed, and a prominent Pine Valley denizen will go on trial for his murder! Surely we won’t have to go through yet another Erica Kane trial, will we? My source indicates this will be a lengthy storyline in October, lasting well into November sweeps. Do you think we could slip into Pine Valley and do the deed sooner, like maybe August? <grin>

Gloria: My first thought was Kendall…it just seems like she’s taking the attitude that Michael should be dead. But what do I know? August is way too soon; these things take time, time, and more time.

Karen: Another Kendall felony trial? And Ryan would be back in time to support her and find her another attorney…

Gloria: Wonder if Justin will be involved???
