Gloria: They are just trying so hard to write something for Aidan to do.
Karen: Chez George? Is there a new restaurant in Pine Valley?
Gloria: Could be!
Karen: Was it blood that Kendall cleaned up in the condo? Shall we try to guess how many places we’ll be seeing blood, or how many weapons will be found before this is all over? It could be like guessing the number of jelly beans in a jar!
Gloria: Well, that was a mighty small amount of blood, if that’s what it was…I couldn’t take my eyes off that dress…waiting for the split up the side to happen.
Karen: I’m so glad the girls’ stupid bet is off—I could have done without the whole storyline!
Gloria: I’m sure I said something to that effect when they did it. TGIO (new acronym – Thank God It’s Over)
Karen: Whoa, Mary! Doesn’t the preview indicate that they may have done the deed?
Gloria: Shoot! I was on my way to the bathroom.
Karen: Okay, let’s try to reason this out, one gun at a time… I don’t think Reggie stole Jack’s gun. Period. He wouldn’t just leave the safe open, days after the fact, and wouldn’t want Jackson implicated in any way by the use of his gun. I believe he got an untraceable gun off the street, just as he told Bianca. So, who took it? The key here may be the word safe. Remember, we saw, in a walk-in closet, a gloved hand opening a safe and removing a gun. I think it’s a pretty good bet now to figure it was Jackson’s safe that we saw, and no one that wanted Michael dead would have wanted to implicate Jack. This may only serve to prove I have no imagination at all, but I swear I keep going back to a Janet Green theme—why not Mary??? Janet seemingly had no connection to Will Cortlandt or reason to want him dead, yet she proved to be the killer and we learned that her only motive was to make Trevor happy. Here, Mary could be the killer to please Jack, using his gun as a Plan B in the event that pleasing him didn’t get her what she wanted.
Gloria: Well, my first reaction to the gloved hand was Kendall because of the moles/freckles on the arm. But then, look out neat and clean she was with the spot of blood so she wouldn’t leave the door open. Then I thought it might be Erica because she might also have freckles and maybe she might have been in a hurry and forgot to close it. Of course, that’s saying they didn’t use a stand-in forearm double. <grin> But it’s probably Bianca, because she is the only one that wouldn’t be “put away” for killing Michael. Mary might have done it—maybe, perhaps?? Gosh, they have me going.
Karen: I thought it was very interesting when Greenlee said that Juan Pablo knows his way around wine and women, the red carpet, royal bashes, “What could you possibly want that you don’t already have?” Make that wine and men, and Greenlee has always known that life, too, yet it almost sounds like Kendall wondering what Michael would want with a swamp girl!
Gloria: As much as I love Greenlee and love everything she does…I must have been in the bathroom AGAIN!
