Karen: Of all of Jamie’s antics and Tad’s reactions, what bothered me the most today is that Tad and Joe wound up cleaning the mess the party animals left behind! I’m absolutely not saying I did everything right in disciplining my son when he was a teenager, but you can bet the farm that he would have cleaned up that house before he stepped foot out of the house to go anywhere—or would have had to pry the doorknob out of my cold, dead hand! Is Tad just feeling so guilty about having set what he now perceives to be a bad example that he’s going to let this kid walk all over him?
Gloria: It did afford Tad and Joe a bonding time…
Karen: Did you read the note in our Extras section about Michael E. Knight? Who will the three ladies be that he’s juggling simultaneously? My first thoughts were Liza, Simone (only since we’ve read the scoops, and I still don’t see it!), and maybe “Babe’s mother”? Surely he wouldn’t go after Liza and Simone at the same time, would he?!?
Gloria: Oh, my…I’m not sure I’m looking forward to this. <grin>
Karen: Hasn’t Erica “disowned” Kendall? And yet Kendall just breezes past Security and walks into Erica’s penthouse?
Gloria: Drama, drama, drama. <grin>
Karen: Isn’t Life Rule #3 right on target?!?
Gloria: Yes indeed!
Karen: I do admire Bianca for thoroughly exploring her options, but I’m not at all sure keeping and raising a child conceived as this baby was is a viable option. Bianca is right that this baby will be his or her own person, not just a reminder of the father, but what to you say to that baby when he or she starts asking questions about his or her father? Also, Erica is right that she could choose artificial insemination if she wanted to become pregnant at another time—I would hardly consider being raped becoming pregnant in the “normal” way!
Gloria: I’m still hoping for a medical reason to abort, a miscarriage, or any option that would take the decision out of Bianca’s hands.
Karen: I had to laugh when Erica said thousands of women get pregnant by artificial insemination, and they get to choose the father. Liza might have something to say to that!
Gloria: I’m still in disbelief that Liza ever did that…that Adam ever did that. I remember thinking they wouldn’t write that into a storyline. Thank goodness I’m not keeping track of my jaw dropping to the floor as they actually do these things.
