All My Children Daily Recaps

Aidan wants to know why the subject of Ryan Lavery threatens her so much? Kendall is so sick of his need to hear about her feelings for Ryan; she doesn’t have feelings for him, so why can’t he just accept that? Aidan doesn’t think it rings true. She asks why he’s still obsessing about all this? If he doesn’t want to ruin this relationship before it gets anywhere, he should just be honest with her, and not hide behind some bull about feelings she’s supposedly harboring for Ryan because they don’t exist! She has no feelings for Ryan except anger, “I swear to you, I am completely over Ryan Lavery!” Aidan asks why they can’t just talk about him? Every time the subject comes up, she gets so worked up! Kendall agrees anyone who’s trying to take what’s hers gets her worked up! Ryan’s after everything she inherited, and won’t be happy until she’s charged with Michael’s murder. Aidan says Ryan’s not trying to put her in prison—he’s trying to keep her out! He’s not pressing the police for Michael’s time of death, and has even given them a couple of pieces of evidence against someone else to save her! Kendall insists she still hates Ryan, and she hates being told how she feels about her mother and Ryan! Aidan argues that he sees through her—it’s in her eyes every time she looks at Ryan. She’s not free, and he doesn’t want to go down the road again of loving a woman that’s still stuck in the past and won’t face it. Kendall says this isn’t about her baggage—it’s about his! He says she takes all of her pain and shoves it down deep out of sight; she claims to hate Ryan and her mother, but she was willing to go to prison for Erica. He wants to love her, but doesn’t want to wake up in 4 weeks time and find she’s gone off with Ryan. They’re great together, but she has a lot of things to figure out. Kendall asks what he wants her to do, sleep with Ryan first and then choose? He agrees, if that’s what it takes, “Go for it!” Kendall says it would serve him right if she did sleep with him! Aidan agrees maybe she’s right, and suggests she call him when she’s got it solved. He leaves, suggesting she probably wants to get a locksmith to look at that door.

Kendall angrily throws a plant across the room and slams the door. She opens a drawer and takes out Ryan’s ring; she looks at it as she recalls him giving it to her and asking her to marry him. Kendall looks out to see Ryan at the door of Michael’s condo, and bangs the door until it opens. Ryan says hello and asks what happened to her door? Kendall says it was a stupid accident, and asks if he can come in for a few minutes? He comes in and looks at the upturned plant, “Another accident?” Kendall says no, it needed repotting anyway. Ryan asks what she wanted to talk to him about? She stammers for a moment before pulling him into a passionate kiss. Ryan thinks that said a lot about what she wants, but is she sure she wants it with him? Kendall says that’s a good question, and tells him to kiss her again! He does, and she exclaims, “Oh god, he was right! He was right—I really do feel it!” Ryan does, too, and asks if that’s good, or if he’s going to get slugged? In answer, Kendall kisses him again.

CASH COW…

Brooke says she’s sorry his sign is missing, but Benny tells her it was stolen, “Swiped by the couple joyriding in your car!” JR listens intently as Brooke asks if he said there was another person involved in this? Benny says yes, her son’s girlfriend. Brooke tells him her son doesn’t have a girlfriend. He shrugs, “Whatever,” and asks if she’ll swear her son was home the night before last? Brooke doesn’t really recall, and Benny tells her to just call him in so he can get a look at him, as he’ll recognize him. When she says she can’t, Benny declares he’s getting the cops in on this. JR steps forward and says she can’t do that because James is at PVU right now, but can he describe the girl that was in the car? Benny grins as he says she was blond, a real pretty little dish, and built like a brick…built! Brooke doesn’t think that sounds like any of her son’s friends, and asks if he has a card? Benny gives her one, with a picture of his cow, and she agrees to ask her son if he knows anything about his sign, and then she’ll give him a call. JR asks Benny, “What’s your price tag? You want your cow back; I don’t think that’s possible, but how much to replace it? Just give me a reasonable total.” Benny repeats the figure, and Brooke exclaims, “Five hundred dollars for a plastic cow?” JR counts out $500 and Benny says he likes to see a young man doing what’s right! JR says that settles the matter of the cow being swiped—is he happy?
