“This is your baby?” Ryan repeats, and Kendall asks if he doesn’t see the resemblance? It happened the night she married Michael, “He wasn’t the only one that got lucky in Vegas!” Bianca cries that it’s not true, and Ryan agrees; Kendall has told some staggering lies in the past, but she won’t get away with this one! Bianca gapes as Kendall insists she’s 11 weeks along. Bianca can’t do this, and runs from the park. Ryan asks if Kendall’s happy now? She is, laughing that in 6 months, she’s going to be the proud mother of Alexander Cambias’ only grandchild. Ryan asks if she makes up this stuff as she goes along? When Kendall shrugs that she didn’t make up the sonogram, Ryan doesn’t get it; she almost took his head off when he asked Bianca if she was having Michael’s child! Kendall says suggesting that was disgusting because Michael raped Bianca, and Ryan asks why she would want to have Michael’s child? She tells him it’s because of the codicil, but Lavery says he was the one who told her about that, and that’s when she came up with this whole baby scam to cash in on the inheritance. He wants to know why she hasn’t said anything about this baby until tonight? Kendall claims he pushed her to it tonight because Bianca was so devastated by his questions—does he think she wanted her sister to find out like this? She was going to keep it secret until after Bianca left town; once she saw a bit of the world and realized there was life outside of Pine Valley, it would help her handle the news. Ryan says this act isn’t working for him; if the child is real, they’re talking about an innocent child here! Kendall thinks Ryan’s only concern in this is financial, so why don’t they just leave it to the lawyers? Ryan says he was with Alex when he died, and he told him what a grandchild would mean to him; it could save his family and repair the Cambias legacy. Kendall snaps that’s a nice thing to saddle a kid with, but Ryan insists he swore to him that he would see to the terms of his will. Kendall doesn’t care what he does, but only cares about getting what she wants; she’s going to make sure this baby does that, and he can’t stop her!
Bianca hurries into the apartment and starts pulling suitcases out, telling Maggie she’s got to get out of here—she has to pack up and leave! Maggie asks her to slow down and talk to her—she’s really freaking her out! Bianca says she thought this was going to work but Kendall keeps getting herself in deeper and deeper. Maggie asks what she did now? Bianca can’t let her throw her whole life away; Ryan is going to go after her! Maggie asks if Ryan knows about the baby, and is that why she wants to leave? Bianca tells her they’re going to make this baby a Cambias, no matter what Kendall does. That’s why she has to get out of here; she can’t let Kendall get hurt, and she has to protect her baby. Maggie’s never seen her like this before; she doesn’t know what happened after she left the cemetery, but Bianca doesn’t have to leave. Bianca cries that she already feels like she’s under a microscope, and they’ll be no escape if she doesn’t leave now, “I can’t let them take her, Maggie, I can’t let them do that to her—I’ll disappear!” Maggie insists no one is going to take her baby, but Bianca cries that she loves her so much already, and would do anything for her. Maggie knows, and promises everything is going to be okay.
