JR rages he's going to put a lock on this passage door, "My damned brother is a stalker!" When Jamie says he told him he had to talk to Babe, JR asks if he had to do it behind his back, in his bedroom? He wonders if Jamie did more than talk the last time he sneaked in; he pulls Jamie's ID card from his pocket and says he wasn't even careful about it! In all the countries he's shipped out to, he could shoot him and get away with it, because it would be justifiable homicide! Babe comes back into the bedroom and shouts at him to stop it! Jamie says this isn't Babe's fault; he didn't want to deal with Adam or Mary. JR agrees it kind of ruins the mood, but Jamie argues he came to get the truth, not to cheat on him with Babe. JR retorts, according to him, he's already done that! Babe tells Jamie to get out of here, but Jamie repeats he's not going to force her to take a DNA test now; he found out the amniocentesis could hurt the baby, and there's no way he would take that chance, but he will get a court order as soon as the baby is born. JR repeats the kid's not his, but Jamie insists he knows for a fact that Babe could be having his baby-he got her records at the hospital. She protests that's impossible, but JR notes it's not when your grandfather is the Chief of Staff. Jamie tells him Joe had nothing to do with it-he hacked into his computer to gain access to Babe's files; she's been lying to him about when she got pregnant. He has all the facts he needs, and she got pregnant the same week he made love to her. Babe says he can spin his lies all he wants, but she and JR love each other way too much to let his bull come between them. JR asks if he's finished? He orders him out, through the front door this time. Jamie leaves, and Babe sighs that he needs some serious help-he's bonkers! JR says they shouldn't worry about him, and suggests she change into something more formal-he's got a surprise for her!
At the hospital, Babe teases this sure doesn't look like the Caribbean! JR just wants to make sure his wife and baby are healthy, and he set up an appointment with her doctor. Dr. Parker comes up, and JR says this is his first kid, and he wants to be with her every step of the way. He missed out last time when the doctor told her how pregnant she was; this time he wants to be with her, holding her hand, when the doc gives them the news! As they look at the sonogram, JR remarks he thought it would be bigger by now, "How many weeks along did you say my wife is?" Babe nods almost imperceptibly, and Dr. Parker admits she's not quite as far along as he previously stated, "I guess I made a mistake by about 4 weeks." JR notes, "Well, how about that!" After the exam, Babe notes the doctor made a whopper of a mistake and pretended it was an accident, but JR says she's the one that's been pretending. "Not about loving you," she insists, and asks what it matters when his little swimmer fell in love with her baby egg? He's the only man she's ever loved, and the only man she's made love to since becoming his wife-Jamie's lying! JR chose her, "But I never believed you." Babe thinks he chose her, so he must have believed her a teeny bit. JR informs her that after the baby's born, "I'll order the test myself!"
MEXICAN STANDOFF…
Tad urges Krystal to do the right thing, "Tell me what Babe's holding onto." She laughs that it takes more guts to stand up to someone who thinks they can steamroll right over you! Tad retorts, if this is the way Babe is going to play it, he'd gladly do a little steamrolling to protect his family, even if it's over her and her daughter! Krystal thinks they've got themselves a Mexican standoff, because she will do anything to protect her daughter from his sons-one in particular!
