Eden Riegel as Bianca Montgomery

Eden Riegel (Bianca Montgomery)

ABC MediaNet
Edmund awakes in his hospital bed when Maria walks in and gives him a good morning kiss. Edmund teases that she has some bedside manner. Maria laughs and tells him, “Yeah, but you are kind of cute. I may just have to take you home with me.” Edmund would like to take her up on that, but Maria tells him he must first get a little more R&R before he can come home. “I’ll be back on my feet in no time?” Edmund asks. Maria ignoring the “back on the feet” part replies that he will be back home where he belongs with his wife and kids. Edmund reminisces about when he was fading and pulling back while Maria was fighting for his life. Maria tells him there was no other option; she’s going to bring him back all the way. “Maria,” he hoarsely says, “I can’t move my legs.”

Mary tries to show some motherly tenderness to the sleeping beauty Greenlee on Adam’s couch, but she awakens suddenly to her mother’s touch. Mary tells her she is still at the Chandler’s. “You stormed in here last night, remember?” Greenlee wondered why she let her sleep there all night. Mary told her she looked so much like a little girl, her little girl. “This tender mother-daughter moment must have brought you sheer desperation. Don’t worry, it won’t happen again,” she tells her mother as she hastily gathers her belongings to leave. Mary asks Greenlee to please stay and listen to what her brilliant mother figured out while she was sleeping – how to put Kendall Hart out of her misery.

Kendall walks into the empty courtroom to discover Reggie reclining in the judge’s chair. “Order in the court.” Reggie states as he pounds the gavel. Kendall asks what the hell he is doing up there. Reggie figured he would be able to find some of the judge’s chicken scratch notes to see who’s side she is on or if she is going to nail “J” or not. Upon learning that Reggie didn’t find anything, Kendall tells him it’s the thought that counts. Reggie reminds Kendall she knows what he’ll lay on the line to make sure she gets away with this.

In the courtroom hallway, Bianca tells Lena the engagement between her mom and Jack is back on and they are going to get married as soon as the trial is over. Lena thought it should make Bianca happy, it’s what she’s been praying for. Bianca says she is happy, but with them being together 24/7, it is going to be that much harder for Uncle Jack to keep her baby a secret from Erica.

Erica walks in Jack’s office and he abruptly hangs up the phone, assuring her it was no one important. Jack suggests since she drive and they will meet in court, she believes he is trying to get rid of her. Erica wondered why he has been acting so strange the past couple of days; Jack claimed it was just part of his charm. Erica insisted on knowing the truth and threatened to push *69 to find out. Jack confesses there is a secret and she’s not going to like it very much. Jack explains to Erica that someone is coming over to talk about the direction the trial is taking. Jack tells her it is a colleague who is putting their whole career on the line to help him out. Erica assures Jack that she can be discreet if he would tell her who it is. Jack tells Erica that he would trust her with his life and she needs to trust him with hers. Erica gives in and tells Jack she will be the dutiful future wife and meet him at the courthouse, but she firmly tells him after this, there will be no more secrets.

Shortly after Erica leaves, Jack’s mystery guest arrives. “Hi, Hannah, thanks for coming,” he says, as Judge Lambert walks in. “I sneaked up the back like a two-dollar hooker.” The judge makes sure he knows their conversation never took place. She tells Jack she respects him way too much to diddle around, so she wants to know straight up if the bomb he dropped on the witness stand about stealing the gun from the evidence room is intended to subvert the trial or destroy his entire career?

Kendall tells Reggie how grateful she is for all he has done, but Reggie does not want her to get all weepy on him. Bianca and Lena walk in and Bianca wants to know what she owes Reggie for. “You name it,” Kendall chuckles, “Reggie has been my rock through all of this.” Reggie proudly tells them that he is indeed Reggie the Rock. Lena tells Kendall that they are all behind her. Erica arrives in the courtroom and tells Kendall the sooner she believes that, the better off she will be. Erica wants to know why Reggie is not in school, but he explains that he is covering the trial for the school newspaper. Erica tells him to be sure to spell her name right. Kendall asks Erica for a little side bar conference. Off to the side, Erica spies Kendall’s engagement ring. Kendall tells her that she and Ryan are getting married and she has Erica to thank.
