John Callahan - Edmund Grey

John Callahan (Edmund)

ABC MediaNet
Kendall tells a story of stealing that gun from Jackson Montgomery's safe on August 28th, and was in her place a little after midnight trying to figure out how to load it. It had six chambers and she had only loaded five when the gunshot rang out from across the courtyard. When she heard the gunshot, she grabbed the .38 and ran over to Michael's. Someone shot him, but they had left the scene. Michael was bleeding and barely alive when he looked up and saw her holding the gun, and he laughed that she was too late, "Somebody beat you to it, but I will get you. I will return from Hell, and I'll get you all." Then, he died. Instead of calling the police, she cleaned up the blood as best as she could, and then she took the gun and his body and put it in a duffel bag. She dragged the duffel bag in her car, and dumped it at the meat packing plant. Livia asks, "So, you did not fire a gun that night, and you did not kill Michael Cambias?" Kendall agrees she did not, and Livia has no more questions. Jackson nods with approval as the judge asks if the prosecution has anything on re-cross? Ryan comes in as Singer tells her he has quite a bit!

Alan Singer wants to fill in a few blanks. He asks if she wants the court to believe she lifted 175 pounds of dead weight by herself? Kendall shrugs that when the adrenaline gets pumping, there's no limit to what you can do, but Singer tells her to come clean, "Who helped you dispose of the body that night? Who was your accomplice in this murder?" As he asks again who helped her that night, Reggie comes through the door and tells her to give it up, "Tell the man what he wants to know-tell him it was me!"

I DON'T WANT YOUR HELP!

Edmund shouts at Maria, "Don't touch me-I don't want your help!" Stung, she backs away, but cries as she watches Edmund struggle to get back on the bed. When she says she's going to call an orderly, Edmund says if she wants to help him, "Just leave me the hell alone!"

An orderly, Caesar, helps Edmund back into bed, and Maria thanks him. When she says she knows how frustrating this must be, Edmund tells her he doesn't want to talk about this or anything else, "Please leave me alone." Maria leaves, and dissolves in tears outside his room. Brooke shows up with chocolate croissants and asks how he is this brisk winter morning? When he says he feels like a useless sack of garbage, Brooke demands that he repeat that. When he does, she drops the bakery box into the garbage and agrees that's what she thought he said! If he disses himself again, she's going to hit him in the head with his bedpan before going to the nearest exit and never coming back! She asks again how he's doing today, and Edmund grins he feels so good he can't stand it! Brooke thinks that's so much better! She can take a lot from him, but wallowing in self-pity is not on the list. Edmund sighs that she never let him get away with anything; she agrees she never has, and isn't going to start now. She asks how she can make his day better, adding that she draws the line at sponge baths! Edmund says there is something she can do for him, and only she can do it. He wants her to research his condition and this Dr. Ellis Marshall; he wants her to find out everything she can about him, the pros and the cons, and talk to his successes and failures. He needs to know what his odds are going in, and he needs her to be what he can't right now, his legs.
