Karen: My opinion of Danielle didn't go up today after she warned Reggie what a slob she is. Of course, we knew that would be the case, so Greenlee can come home and find her penthouse trashed! For that reason alone, I doubt if Greenlee and Ryan's Excellent Adventure will last very long.
Gloria: I know I'm not going to like this storyline, I just know it.
Karen: Speaking of Danielle, did you notice that she admonished Reggie for saying Greenlee could stay gone, "That's your family!"? Isn't that odd, after she just badmouthed her parents? We've wanted Danielle to come back to Pine Valley for so long-let's just hope they give us a storyline that's worthy of the return.
Gloria: Like I said, doesn't do much for me.
Karen: Again I take exception to the writers' choice of words, when Babe was saying her mother thought childbirth felt like the devil himself was ripping her apart. Isn't that just what Pine Valley's own devil, Michael Cambias, did to her?
Gloria: I really must have moved to the foyer on that one…or wished I'd headed that way. Ugh!
Karen: The way there was instant dislike between Bobby and Greenlee makes me wonder if there's a story there! You know couples in Pine Valley always seem to get together after Hate at First Sight!
Gloria: I think it's a match made in Heaven…he could very well be Leo's replacement-great potential, unfortunately, at Anita's expense, but she will have Aidan by then. Of course, that was my instant reaction. I need to see them together some more before I can finally join the throngs of fans that want Ryan and Kendall back together.
Karen: How predictable is Edmund's reaction to what's happening? Yawn…
Gloria: Now I told you that Edmund does the anger thing very well, so they are capitalizing on it. I'll be very upset though, if Brooke is the reason that he walks again and then he walks straight to Maria. In fact, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if that's not what happens.
Karen: I'm so glad Tom and Brooke had a chance to say hello and catch up. (I'm sure Julia Barr enjoyed the chance to work with Dick Shoberg again-I know they are very good friends in real life.)
Gloria: Who wouldn't be friends with him??? I remember thinking how cute he was and how he so much did not look like the football player he was made out to be all those many years ago.
Gloria: Should I hang on to hope that Livia will be too busy to defend Jack and he calls Trevor????
Gloria: The other day I was watching SOAPnet and they aired a commercial of sorts and did a ton of flashbacks and Arlene was in one of the shots and I was deeply sadden that we might not see her again with Hayley out on the West Coast. I really did like her character even though she wasn't very likable.
