Krystal (to Erica): “I’m sorry, I’ve got a manic thing going on—I can’t decide whether to rip out my hair or break brownies!”

As promised, here is a recap of the One Life to Live crossover connection!
Paul was relieved when his sister showed up, and asked where she had been? Did anybody see her? She said no, and asked why, but Paul told her it didn’t matter now that she’s here. Kelly looked at the baby and exclaimed this is really true! Paul put the child in her arms, “Baby, here’s your mom.” Kelly held him as she said she didn’t believe this—he’s the most beautiful thing she’s ever seen! Is he hers? Paul agreed he’s all hers. “How?” she asked, “How did you do this, Paul?”
Kevin was stunned to read that Todd Manning had been named City Editor, and exclaimed that his mother came through for him again! Blair shrugged that she didn’t care where he works, as long as he didn’t bother her. Kevin said this was Todd they’re talking about, “It’s never that simple for him!”
Todd looked through binoculars at the cabin and exclaimed, “Come on, Kelly! You just gotta grab the baby and get out—how long does it take?” He got out of the car with a sigh, and made a phone call to the City Desk. Identifying himself to an employee as his new boss and asking if he wants to keep his job, he ordered, “I want you to dig up all you can on a man named Paul Cramer, that’s Kelly Cramer Buchanan’s half brother, all right? I want you to dig as deep as you can. I have a feeling Mr. Cramer will have some information he doesn’t want us to know about.”
Paul said all she needed to know was that the baby is her son, “He’s yours, Kelly!” Kelly marveled that he was so perfect, and wondered how anyone could give him up? Paul told her to take him home to Kevin, “There’s no going back now!”
Kevin and Blair discussed why Todd would even take a job as City Editor. Kevin thought his mother had gone too far this time, and that Todd took the job so he could start stalking her. Blair stopped him from calling his mother, and said he’s not trying to protect her, “What’s really going on is you’re upset about Kelly that she’s missing, and you’re trying to take it out on somebody!”
When Kelly asked where he came from, Paul insisted that it doesn’t matter. Kelly told her brother it matters; she lost a child, and cannot take this baby knowing his mother is going through the same type of agony! Paul told her that wasn’t going to happen—he knows the mother, and she doesn’t want the baby. Confused, Kelly told Paul he said he wasn’t going to help her, but he explained he saw how much she loved the baby she lost and this is not about Kevin—he saw that. Kelly cried as she said she felt like her whole life had been leading to this moment. Paul smiled that he was meant to be hers, but Kelly said this was so huge—how does she believe it? Paul asked, “Don’t you want to believe it?”
Todd again looked through the binoculars and muttered that he told her to just get the baby and leave, and they all live happily ever after, “Except for Kevin.”
Paul told Kelly to take him home; she wanted a family, and now she can have one. Kelly didn’t know how to thank him for this, but Paul gently stroked the baby’s head as he told her to be a good mom, to love him and give him a good family. Kelly tearfully promised she would, and kissed her brother’s cheek before leaving with the baby.
Blair saw that Kevin was really worried about Kelly and the baby, and insisted he just admit it. Kevin thought maybe she’s right, that she just lied and disappeared to get his attention, but he swears he’s paid attention; ever since they got back together, he’s made sure she knew she was loved! Blair reminded him she did call to say she was okay, but Kevin was frustrated that she didn’t say where she was. Blair asked if he was worried about her hooking up with that guy in Houston? Kevin sighed that was just him being paranoid. He just couldn’t help but wonder if she found out something was wrong with the baby? Blair insisted if something was wrong with the baby that Kelly would tell him—she wouldn’t shut him out.
