Kendall asks, "What do you mean, Bianca took Bess?" Anita explains that Bianca showed up here after midnight; she said she couldn't sleep, and wanted to hold the Chandler baby. It seemed to give her so much comfort! If she had any indication that she would take the baby… JR comes up and realizes something's wrong. He asks if it's Babe-did she have a relapse? He insists someone tell him what's going on, and Kendall says it's Bianca. He asks if she's all right, and Kendall agrees they think she's fine. Anita explains that Bianca showed up at the nursery, wanting to see his little girl, and to hold her. JR says he has no problem with that, and thinks Babe would agree, whatever helps Bianca deal. Kendall slowly says holding wasn't the only thing Bianca did. JR sees the empty bassinette and asks where she is? As Kendall tells him they think Bianca took her, Joe comes up and reports they've searched every inch of the hospital, and there's no sign of them. One of the custodians remembers seeing a woman fitting Bianca's description heading for the north loading dock, which was apparently left unlocked. JR thinks this is crazy-how does a patient walk out with a baby in her arms in the middle of the night, and there's no one there to stop her? Anita explains that some of the floors have open visiting hours, and Joe adds he's instructed Security to interview everyone on the night shift, so they will find out what happened. Kendall tells JR she didn't have a car and couldn't have gone far, and Joe thinks it's time to notify the police. Kendall begs him not to do that, saying it will scare Bianca to death! She tells JR that Bianca loves them like family and would never hurt their baby; she begs him for a little time to find her sister. JR worries that Babe must be going out of her mind, but Anita says Babe doesn't know yet; she was sleeping, and they were hoping they'd find his baby and Bianca right away. JR declares that he'd better tell his wife himself, "Just find Bianca!"
A GOOD PLACE TO LOSE YOURSELF…
Ryan meets Aidan and Tad at BJ's, and laughingly guesses the party kicked into high gear last night after he left. Aidan complains that he's so bloody energetic in the morning, and asks where he got off to? Tad grumbles that it looks like he got a good night's sleep or was lucky in love. Ryan tells them he hasn't felt lucky in a while, so they shouldn't go making assumptions about last night. He thought they were here to find Erica Kane, so what do they know? Aidan says Erica Kane went to Vegas on Palmer Cortlandt's jet, and Ryan guesses that is a good place to lose yourself. Tad thinks she may be trying to hide in plain sight, so Ryan should use some of his well-placed contacts. Ryan notes his contact was Alexander Cambias, and he's not much good to anybody anymore. He gets a call from Kendall, "I need your help-now!"
WAITING FOR MOMMY…
Krystal helps Babe put some makeup on, and grins that she always says a little love and the right shade of lipstick can turn your whole day around! All they need is Bess and her hubby, and she'll take their first family portrait! Babe thinks it's still kind of early, and Bess could still be sleeping. Krystal smiles that babies don't know early or late; she's probably wide awake, waiting for her mommy to come pick her up!
Lena makes calls looking for Bianca before sinking down into a chair and berating herself for falling asleep, "How could I let this happen?" Maggie comes in the room and agrees that's what she'd like to know. She angrily says she was supposed to look after Bianca; she said she had it covered. She promised her, and she trusted her, "Do you have any idea what you've done?" Babe sighs that her mom is the best at brushing her hair. She smiles that was what Bianca was most looking forward to with her baby, being able to brush her hair. JR comes in, and Krystal guesses he stopped by the nursery to see that sweet angel. She starts to leave them alone, but JR tells her not to go. Babe, though, wants a few minutes alone with the man she loves. Krystal leaves, and Babe tells JR she's feeling great! Her fever's down, and the doctors seem to be happy with the test results, so they should just be grateful. JR assures her he's grateful-she had him going there! Babe asks if he saw Bess on the way in? JR tells her so much has happened while she was sick, and there's a lot she doesn't know about. Babe thinks he's acting really weird, and asks why didn't he bring Bess in with him? JR tells his wife there's something she needs to know, that Bianca went to the nursery last night to see Bess, and she took her, "Bianca and Bess are both gone."
Krystal smiles as she looks in the window at Babe and JR. Tad rushes up and asks how they are? When she suggests they walk to the nursery to see the baby, Tad realizes she doesn't know Bess is missing.
