Ryan moves away from Ethan as he asks what happened to his manners? That sounded like a direct threat! Is he tired of hiding behind a scope? Ethan says he doesn't have to hide; he can go directly to the Board members. Some of them accept his mother's letter and his birth certificate as proof about who he is, and they're willing to back him. Ryan agrees that's one take, but another is that some of the Board members would love to get rid of him and put a puppet in his place. They don't care if he's the Cambias heir or the Easter Bunny-they just want to control him, "So, don't expect my resignation anytime soon." When Ethan says he didn't expect him to go down without a fight, Ryan asks if that's why he tried to kill him? Ethan says, for the last time, he didn't shoot him. He doesn't know who did, and he doesn't care! Ryan thinks he should. The way he sees it, there are two suspects, him, the obvious one, and Zach Slater, who was behind the whole murder game. Ethan says to hell with him and his bluff-he doesn't have a thing to prove who he is! "But I do," Ryan replies, and insists his offer is real. Ethan agrees so is his, so he should get ready for the fight of his life. Ryan notes he did that, and that's not going to happen again. He gives Ethan a word of advice about Slater, saying he wears a lot of faces, "Just make sure you know which one you're talking to."
Ryan goes back downstairs, and Kendall asks where's Ethan? Did he push him off the roof? Kendall leaves, and Ryan tells Greenlee he got a lot of attitude from Ethan, but no answers. He does believe, if Zach is Alexander Cambias, Jr., then he is keeping the secret from Ethan. As Greenlee asks why he would do that, Jonathan comes back to report he's notified Security-does he want Ramsey escorted out? Ryan kisses Greenlee and tells Jonathan to keep an eye on her, because she's going to make him an uncle one day. Jonathan fusses over Greenlee, who laughs it's a little too early to start treating her like she's eating for two. He bets they get lucky their first crack at the plate, and Greenlee calls that an interesting analogy. He goes to get her some OJ for the Vitamin C, saying he wants his nephew to be strong and healthy! Greenlee touches her stomach and smiles, "Wouldn't that be something?"
Kendall finds Ethan still on the roof, and suggests maybe they should both give up and run away. Maybe they're right, she's just a crazy woman who can't let go of anything. Zach seems to think she's pushing him and the whole identity because of her own issues; she's sorry if she did that, and thinks maybe she just screwed things up for both of them. Ethan says he made the decision to stay, "Just don't blame yourself for what comes next." Kendall asks what he means? He won't hurt Ryan, will he?
