Gloria: Maybe shes just pretending
Karen: Do you think so? Ive got to admit I never even considered it. She has such a soft spot for J.R. despite everything
Gloria: It crossed my mind, but not too seriously and only fleetingly. I guess I could re-watch the episodes and check for real clues.
Karen: I loved when Lily reached out and tentatively touched Jacks handthats such a major gesture for her, and the look on Jacks face said just what it meant to him. So often, Im reminded of how fortunate we are to have such wonderful actors on our show!
Gloria: And as of late, we are reminded nearly every day. Im just so into AMC!!!
Karen: I am, too, and think were so lucky to do what we do!
Gloria: Amen!
Gloria: I was just thinking the other day that we havent had anyone go blind lately lots of people shot, paralyzed, but no one thats blind which character should we petition for that condition? I could go for a twin storyline, too. They are my favorite I love to see the stars stretch their talents. I guess I should give up thinking, yes???
Karen: No, just dont expect results! <grin> Speaking of stars stretching their talent, did you happen to catch Law & Order: SVU on Tuesday night? Cady McClain (ex-Dixie) and Amanda Seyfried (ex-Joni) were on it as mother and daughter.
Gloria: Shoot, no, that means I must catch the reruns!!!
TODAYS THOUGHTS:
Karen: I know TPTB dont really want us to remember it, but how different is what Babe did than Ericas allowing Edmund and Maria to think their baby was dead after she kept her as her own and passed her off as Sonya, her adopted daughter from Russia? (Is that what David was alluding to when he suggested Erica shouldnt be throwing stones?) Im not minimizing Ericas right to be angry at the anguish her daughter lived through, but the holier than thou bit rings somewhat hollow in light of the similarities
Gloria: We are dealing with Erica, remember????
Karen: When Kendall saw the diaper and asked whose baby David and Krystal were ready to hide out, wouldnt you think she would have noticed it was wet, so they had already hidden a baby?
Gloria: Do you think that Kendall would recognize a wet diaper?
Karen: It was a nice touch that we saw Liza today, if only briefly!
Gloria: It was sooooooo comforting and I hope we get to see a few more of those scenes before she is truly gone (or comes back).
Karen: Weve agreed on the caliber of performances weve seen lately from so many of the actors, but todays kudos go to Michael E. Knight and his very moving turn as a father having to walk away from his son and grandchild. I was choking back tears, too, and dont believe its pollen season here
Gloria: OMG, can you read Emmy into that scene????? I think its too late to enter that scene into the running, but shoot, it was sooo good!
Karen: When Tad said he was far from hating Krystal, was he admitting he still loves her? Tad needs someone new (hmm, Im available ), and I want to see David and Krystal together!
Gloria: Well, we could always try Tad and Erica
Karen: Will Adam ever learn that money doesnt mean as much to others as it does to him, and not everyone can be bought? Silly question On the other hand, Ive heard it said that anyone who doesnt think money can buy happiness isnt shopping in the right place!
Gloria: Very silly question and Im sure you meant it to be rhetorical. <grin> Im be thrilled to try to find out if money buys happiness
Karen: This absolutely isnt a criticism, as I think Susan Lucci is a very beautiful woman, but did you notice that the nose she had when Bianca was born isnt the same one shes sporting today?
Gloria: Nor is the nose that she had when Bianca was born as the one in that black and white scene they always show at the very beginning of her career
