Karen: I know Anita’s doing everything for Bianca’s good in the hopes of getting through to her, but it struck me funny when she asked Bianca if she told Kendall about the night they shared some wine when their loves lives tanked. After all, Kendall was a good part of the reason Anita’s love life tanked!
Gloria: Comas bring friends and family close. <grin>
Karen: LOL! Maybe every family could use one every now and then?
Gloria: Hmmm, whom would you pick? <grin>
Karen: I know that’s a rhetorical question! <grin> I may just have to push him, er, them, off a balcony before this holiday is over…
Gloria: Now, if you do that…you’ll be the one in leg irons!
Karen: I guess you’re right. I’d better give up the idea—ankle bracelets have never looked good on me…
Gloria: Well, there are ankle bracelets and then there are ankle bracelets…
Karen: Granted, Maggie’s a bit slow on the uptake when it comes to some things, but surely Jonathan’s deliberately keeping Bianca’s condition from her has got to give her a clue about him! I get chills thinking about what David is going to do when he finds out that Jonathan has hurt Bianca, Maggie AND Greenlee!
Gloria: Not only David, but all of Pine Valley…including Ryan!!!
Karen: Yeah, but the others will have no hesitation or regret about running him out of town on a rail. Ryan, on the other hand, will have to deal with not only the loss of another brother, but the realization that both of his brothers are so twisted. Gee, I can hardly wait to meet his sister…
Gloria: Or wait to meet the “real” Ryan????
Karen: Groan…
Karen: After what the so-called “hot girls” did to Lily, I hope their parents take away a whole lot more than charge privileges and cars! Charges should be pressed, but I suppose that would be really hard on Lily…
Gloria: I doubt it will even be addressed other than in passing.
Karen: Well, Aidan handled it, I guess. It never occurred to me that Lily would make Aidan and Anita promise not to tell Jack.
Gloria: The truth and full disclosure are hard to come by in Pine Valley. (Wow! How profound!!!)
Karen: LOL!
Karen: J.R.’s really laying the guilt on thick, isn’t he? As horrible as Adam has been to so many people over the years, I shudder to think of his son’s wrath when he finds he’s betrayed him…
Gloria: I’m really scared for us all. <grin> J.R.’s evil side seems so much more evil than Adam’s ever was…could be Jacob Young’s sinister jaw-hardened look that he has where David Canary’s is more soft.
Karen: He really has perfected the look, hasn’t he?
Gloria: Yes and it’s scary to me.
Karen: I assume it was Brooke’s pain that convinced Edmund to change his mind about the holidays? I doubt if we’ll see Sammy; I don’t think I’ve read anything about a recast.
Gloria: Well, they can always just have him in the other room with “Mama Santos” and then neither would be physically represented.
Karen: I’m sure that’s just what they’ll do, if we see the Grey family Christmas at all. Remember, Maria’s got to be at the hospital when Bianca wakes up!
Gloria: So true…I would have thought that Zach and Maria would get together for Christmas…
Gloria: I’m really looking forward to the day Bianca wakes…it will probably happen in the last five minutes of the show and I’ll need two boxes of tissues. I’ve been watching AMC from the beginning and it still holds my interest more than any other soap that I watch.
Karen: It’s the only show I’ve watched consistently all these years. I did watch Ryan’s Hope from Day One, and would still be watching if it hadn’t been cancelled. And, I watched Days for a while, sticking with it only until Eileen Davidson completed her tour de force as five different characters! But, I can’t tell you how happy I was to have that hour back when I stopped watching…
Gloria: I think I’ve watched them all over the years except for Bold and the Beautiful…hoping to find one that has as much meaning to me as AMC, but alas, they just were never able to suck me in.
