From Karen Watkins, for About.com

Erica takes the syringe from her purse and demands, “You explain this, you smug, self-serving quack!” Greenlee comes out and tells Erica to back off, “Dr. Madden’s the reason I’m still standing.” When Erica says Dr. Madden making her feel good is exactly the problem here, Greg exclaims she has no idea what she’s insinuating! Greenlee sighs that Erica is so off base, as usual. Dr. Madden did not drug her. Erica doesn’t hear either one of them denying he supplied her with the syringe. She’s been there; it’s dark, scary and ugly. She has lost so much already, and this will rob her of anything she has left. When Greg declares he will not allow her to make such slanderous allegations against him, Erica says if he doesn’t tell her what’s in this syringe, she will have its contents analyzed on her own. In 24 hours, she will know the exact contents of this needle, and so will everyone in Pine Valley. Greenlee says all right, she’ll tell her what’s in that syringe, “And you will definitely screw up everything!”

THREE IS ONE TOO MANY!

As Sam holds the chair for her at the Valley Inn, Lily notes she’s never heard of boyfriends and girlfriends going on a breakfast date before. Sam asks if that means they’re boyfriend and girlfriend again? Lily says he asked her on a date and she said yes, so what else would that mean? When she asks if breakfast dates are the new trend, Sam says yeah, “We’re starting it, but who wants to be like everyone else, right?” Lily admits sometimes she does, but even when she tries, it doesn’t work. Sam’s glad it doesn’t because she is totally unique, and that’s what he loves about her. As Lily smiles at Sam, Reggie watches…

When breakfast is served, Sam tells Lily stories about arranging the food on his plate when he was seven years old, pretending the grits and sausage were a fort and cannon. Reggie listens as they laugh together, and Lily goes to get another Belgian waffle. Alone at the table, Sam asks, “Do you want to pull up a chair, Reggie, or do you like to eat standing?” He says Jack gave them permission to be here, but Reggie thinks his dad is a lot cooler than he is. Sam gets why he’s here. If Lily were his sister, he’d go crazy when she was with someone, too, but he’s got to give her some space; she knows right from wrong. Reggie doesn’t think so if she’s still with him! Sam asks how he’s going to convince him he’s not trying to pole-vault from the pancakes into her pants? At Reggie’s look, Sam says Lily is the most amazing girl he’s ever known, and he doesn’t want her hurt any more than Reggie does. They’re on the same side here, it’s all good, but it wouldn’t hurt for Reggie to find a way to spend his time, maybe find a new girlfriend. Lily comes back and declares she doesn’t like what she’s seeing, “I don’t like this at all!” Her date is supposed to be with Sam, not Sam and her brother. Two’s company, three’s a crowd, not a very big crowd, but it is one too many! Reggie protests he just wanted to get something to eat, but Lily knows when she’s being spied on—she’s learning to be a detective! That’s how she knew he was here on an undercover mission, only he’s not in disguise. Sam knows it’s hard for her to have people watching over her all the time, but Reggie’s only here because he cares about her. They both do. Lily asks if everyone does this to their girlfriends and their sisters and their daughters, or only the ones with Autism Spectrum Disorder? She’s going to wash her face—she doesn’t like the way it feel right now! She leaves the table, and Sam tells Reggie, “You really got to get a life of your own, dude.”

Lily returns and says her face feels better now, it’s not so hot. She tells Reggie she knows she’s supposed to thank him for watching over her, but she really feels safe with Sam, and would like to go back to her date now, without him. Reggie’s sorry for crashing their date, and says it won’t happen again. If they need him, call him.

I’VE SEEN THE CONNECTION…

Dani is tossing fitfully in her sleep when Mimi comes in and sits on her bed. Garret comes to the door and looks in as Dani wakes with a start, and Mimi asks what’s wrong? Dani says she’s okay, she just couldn’t tell where her dream ended and reality checked in there for a second. Garret comes into the room and says that must have been some nightmare. Mimi sees that Dani is still shaky, and asks what she was dreaming about that scared her this badly? Whatever it was doesn’t matter now; it’s just a dream, right? Dani nods, and Garret leaves to get ready. Dani apologizes for freaking her mom out, but Mimi says she’s sorry she startled her. She just wanted to know if she wanted to join them for breakfast at the Valley Inn with her Aunt Livia. Dani wishes she could, but she has to work. She has her big product preview today; a bunch of glam slam magazine editors are coming to check out the Fusion line.
