From Karen Watkins, for About.com

Kendall suggests he tell her about his little adventures, he and Tad against the mob, and Julia on the subway tracks or whatever. Zach gives it to her in broad strokes, “Julia's safe, The Dragon has been slain, and the empire is no more.” When Kendall guesses that's all she really needs to know, Zach wonders if he can ask her a question? She’s got this beautiful glow about her, “Is that because of me, or because you’re carrying Ryan and Greenlee’s baby?” Kendall’s not sure she’s ready to discuss that, and Zach asks if there was a problem? She says he keeps changing his mind about the surrogacy, but Zach thinks he made it perfectly clear he’d back her choices. Greenlee comes in, and Kendall asks how was the spa? She doesn’t look very relaxed! When Greenlee says she went to Ryan’s sister’s in Nova Scotia, Zach exclaims, “You did what?” Annoyed, Greenlee asks why he’s here? Ignoring that, Kendall says she told her Erin Lavery was off-limits, Nova Scotia was not on the itinerary! Greenlee shrugs she tried not to, but when she was planning her flight, she changed her mind, no big deal. Zach repeats, “You went to see Ryan's sister? Why?” Greenlee has a better question—why is he part of this conversation? What's it to him where she went and who she was with? Does he have some information about the Laverys he hasn’t shared with the class? Kendall asks, “Do you, Zach?” Slater tells her Ryan's sister is the unknown, that's all, and Greenlee sighs she isn’t anymore. Kendall thinks she seems depressed, and asks if Erin was opposed to the surrogacy? Greenlee says no, she didn't tell her. It was too weird and she got all emotional and defensive, but the topper is that she thought she saw Jonathan at a local hospital up there. Kendall calls that ridiculous—she knows he's dead and buried under tons of rocks and dirt!

Greenlee admits she didn’t expect it to hurt so much. She thought Erin's a part of Ryan, he loved her, and she wanted her in her life. Kendall asks what was her problem? Was she hostile? Greenlee says she didn't want her in her home, that's for sure. She tried to hustle her out. Asked if she told her anything about trying to have Ryan's baby, Greenlee says she told her she miscarried, but didn't get into anything else. She was too strange. She thought they could band together, Ryan's one remaining relative, lonely, missing him, but she didn't seem to miss him. She was secretive, “If she hadn't set me off, I could have gone deeper with her.” Kendall asks how she set her off? “She said what would it be like if Ryan were alive, and how would I feel about that?” Greenlee sighs. Kendall exclaims Erin has got to be the dumbest, most thoughtless girl ever, to say that to her brother's widow! She’s worthless. Thank God she doesn’t ever have to go anywhere near her again. Zach agrees it’s pretty callous, and Greenlee admits she was stunned and very angry. Kendall assures her friend she has all the love and support she needs right here, but Greenlee thinks Erin could answer so many questions, “Just in case you do end up carrying a little Lavery.” Kendall takes her hand and says they don’t need Erin, and there’s no “in case”, “I'm… No, we're pregnant.” Zach looks on as they excitedly hug, and Greenlee tells Kendall she can do it now—she can face his memorial service! Kendall agrees everything is perfect, and Zach leaves, saying he’s got things to do.

Kendall and Greenlee propose a milk toast to them, and Ryan’s and their baby, all the family they need. Zach returns with a small wooden box and hands it to Kendall, saying the two of them should be the first to get one of these. Both women are moved by the green bubble gum cigars, “It’s A Baby!”

CAN’T Y’ALL JUST FEEL THE LOVE?

When J.R. wonders what’s taking his mom and Tad so long outside, Opal tells him the man isn’t going to rush a proposal to his one true love, even if it is the fourth time they’ve been at the matrimonial bat! She beams as she exclaims, “Oh, can’t y’all just feel the love?”

Tad tells Di to come on, open up. If they’re really not going to hold anything back, isn’t that the secret she had in mind? That she’s not and never has been Dixie? Di realizes he and Zach didn’t just follow some clues to find her and Julia, he got her letter from Stuart. When he gave it back to her, he didn’t say he had read it. Tad wonders if she asked him? Because if she had, he wouldn’t have lied. Stuart hates lies. “And liars?” Di asks. Tad calls Stuart a better man than he is, “He forgives them.” The fact that that letter named Garret Williams as The Dragon isn’t the only reason she didn’t want him to see it, is it? Does she remember why she told him she didn’t want him to read it? Di agrees, she was afraid. Tad thinks she had good reason, “Hell, if I were you, I’d be terrified.”
