ANYTIME…

Amanda goes to the bank and asks for a $500- cash advance on a credit card, but Alfred’s afraid he can’t do that. This card isn’t hers, unless she’s changed her name to Mr. James Martin. Babe comes over and says in that case, up the ante! Why not take Stud Muffin for all he’s worth? Amanda declares Jamie gave her permission to use his card, but Babe suggests that Alfred call to confirm. Amanda angrily says they are going to be so sorry they messed with her, and she’ll call Jamie herself! Alfred tells her not to do that; he’ll call Mr. Martin himself. He tells Babe he was suspicious of her almost immediately, “You know, Janet From Another Planet.” Amanda shouts at him to leave her mom out of this! She so doesn’t have to take this, and wants her card back, Alfred reminds her they already established it wasn’t her card, and goes to his desk. Amanda says Babe thinks she’s hurting her by pulling stuff like this, but she’s not. Jamie is way into her; even her lame games won’t change that. Babe smiles that Amanda’s will; she can’t take Jamie for a ride. Amanda purrs that he likes the rides she gives him. Babe knows she’s using him, and if he hasn’t figured it out yet, it won’t take him long. Amanda retorts she’s not as stupid as Babe. She let J.R., her own kid, and a hottie like Jamie slip through her fingers. How could anyone be that big a loser? She won’t make the same mistakes. Babe comments if she keeps trying to rip Jamie off, they’ll see how long it lasts. Amanda calls her poor, dumb Babe—she just doesn’t know true love when she sees it.

As Amanda tells Alfred he’d better give her back that card, he doesn’t want to be on Jamie Martin’s bad side, Jamie comes in and notes, “Neither do you, Amanda.” Alfred thanks Jamie for coming over so quickly, and Amanda tells Jamie she just needed a little cash; she’ll totally pay him back tomorrow! Babe comes over and laughs if he believes that, her husband, Brad Pitt, wants him to star in his next movie! Jamie asks how much, and Amanda says five hundred. “Give it to her,” Jamie instructs. Amanda kisses him, saying he rocks! Jamie looks at Babe as he tells Amanda, “Anytime.”

As Amanda gets the cash, Jamie tells Babe he doesn’t need her policing Amanda for him. She’s no longer in the business of saving him, and he can handle Amanda by himself. Babe says she doesn’t even care about him, she’s using him just for his money, and he’s okay with that? Jamie shrugs she doesn’t care J.R., only wanting more time with her son, “What’s the difference?”

Amanda thanks Jamie for the cash advance, and asks how lame Babe is for sticking her nose in their business? Jamie suggests a novel idea; the next time she needs money, why doesn’t she just ask him for it? Amanda tells him to chill—it’s not like she was stealing! Jamie replies, “Yeah, that’s exactly what it’s like.”

IN A DIFFERENT PLACE NOW…

Jack complains he doesn’t want his daughter to be alone with Ryan Lavery; he didn’t trust him before, and now that he’s been miraculously resurrected, he still doesn’t trust him! Erica insists it is a miracle, a blessing—Greenlee has her husband back! He saw the sparks when they were together. Can’t he please just try to embrace it? Jack just wants to embrace his daughter, if he can get her out of Ryan’s arms. What if she says the wrong thing, sets him off again? Erica repeats that Ryan will not hurt Greenlee, but Jack reminds her she saw the same surveillance footage he did at the casino on the night Ryan died, his fist in his daughter’s face, ready to hit her! Erica points out he didn’t hit her then, and won’t hit her now. She can see it in Ryan’s eyes; he’s in a different place now. His daughter stopped living when she lost Ryan. Now, Ryan’s life isn’t the only one that was saved. If he gets in the way of their reunion, she will never forgive him, and he will lose his daughter forever.
