Jamie tells her she did her good deed for the day; she can go now. Saying next time she’ll just send a toaster, Babe leaves. Jamie tells Amanda to give him one good reason why he shouldn’t kick her out on her butt and cut her off! Amanda claims his ex got it all wrong. The guy that gave her the pills said they're a party drug; they each take one, cut loose, relax, release their inhibitions. She just thought they could kick their playtime up to the next level, from mind-bending to mind-blowing, and Jamie asks if that’s before or after the wedding rings? Amanda swears she wasn’t going to put the pills in his drink; nothing would have happened without him knowing and signing off on it. Jamie thinks they would have been a surprise, just like the wedding dress she packed. What he doesn’t get is why she would go through a stunt to marry him? Is it for the money? He tosses bills at her and tells her she can have it, but Amanda insists it’s not about the money. Okay, it is partly, but it is so much more than that. She loves being with him, and knows he’s just in this for fun and games, but Babe smashed his heart so much, she made her afraid he’d never see her as anything more than a toy and then dump her. Jamie tells her to shut up about Babe—she didn’t try to trick him into a marriage he didn't want. What's that about anyway? Is it because of her mom? Amanda agrees, partly. Everything she told him was true about her getting crazier and crazier, needing her 24/7. She just needed a life of her own that she could count on, where she doesn’t come home and the cops are there because she was gone for 10 minutes to the store and she called her in kidnapped, where the neighbors don't call her at 3am because her mom is on the roof. She just needed someplace safe where she’s not scared, and this is that place. She saw this thing on TV about a drug that could help uncap his real feelings for her and just thought that it would help him do what he’s been wanting to do. They have had this special connection forever, since she was little and he helped them find her down in the well, and she has loved him ever since. Jamie says she always goes one lie too far, “You had me, until you said you loved me.” This game is over! They were getting along fine, she had fun, a free ride, but that just wasn't enough. Amanda insists he doesn’t even get that it makes her do whacked-out stuff. How did she think this was going to play out? That he’d wake up from the drug, find out they were married, and would live happily ever after? Amanda agrees that's exactly what would happen because she could make him so happy. When Janet calls, Jamie tells her they’re not registered anywhere; he and Amanda aren’t getting married, or even dating anymore. Amanda takes the phone and tells her mom to calm down; take a pink pill and she’ll call her back later. She hangs up and tells Jamie, “Look, if my mom starts talking to mirrors…” Jamie says it’s not his fault; she lied to her. When she begs for one last chance, Jamie tells her she used up all her chances. The drugs were a deal-breaker, “I want you gone, now, and don't ever come back.”
YOU CAN’T GIVE UP ON GREENLEE!
J.R. holds Kendall back as she and Julia trade insults. Kendall angrily calls Julia a desperate little skank for hitting on Zach and then Ryan—Ryan belongs to Greenlee! Ryan tells her it’s not like that, and J.R. insists she stop it, “Not in your condition.” Ryan asks, “Condition? What condition?” J.R. sneers he’s dead, which means Kendall’s business is none of his. Ignoring him, Ryan asks again what condition J.R. is talking about? J.R. warns there are no branches handy here, but he could grab that baseball bat behind the bar if he doesn’t knock it off. Ryan tells him not to push his luck—one free shot is all he gets! Kendall tells Ryan it’s his fault; she comes in here and he’s all over Julia? She knows Greenlee's a little extreme right now, but at least she doesn't carry a gun and try to get men killed. He cannot give up on Greenlee! Ryan knows Greenlee is her best friend and she has her back and everything. He appreciates that, but there is nothing going on with Julia; it was just a friendly connection. Julia taunts Kendall about wishing Zach had been kissing her; if she can’t get a man to love her, that’s sad, but it’s so not her fault! A bit more name-calling, and Julia tells Ryan it was nice chatting with him before leaving. Kendall shouts after her, calling her a slut, and warning her to stay away from Ryan! She thinks maybe she should go after Julia, see if she can run her over in the parking lot. J.R. tells Kendall to put catfights on her "Things Not To Do While You're Pregnant" list, and Kendall sighs she knows, but Julia drives her crazy. She agrees she should focus on the baby, but has to talk to Ryan; she asks him if he can just keep the baseball bat behind the bar, please?
