NO SHOES, NO SOUL, NO SERVICE…

When J.R. sits at the bar, Babe tells him she’d give her right arm for a few extra minutes with Little Adam. He's at home and his daddy is here searching for a buzz, “So guess what, J.R., no shoes, no soul, no service.”

Kendall tells Ryan there's something serious they have to talk about. He asks if that’s what J.R. was talking about, her condition? If there's something going on with her, he wants to know what it is. Kendall tells him she’s stressed. J.R. knows she’s kind of raw because she just told Zach she wants a divorce. Ryan notes there seemed to be a lot of that going around.

J.R. says to spare him the sermon; give him one more for the road. Babe sighs, whether he believes it or not, she cares about him. She doesn’t want to fight, but his drinking is really starting to scare her for Little A's sake. She works in a bar, she knows what a drunk looks like, and she’s looking at one. She doesn’t want to take this to the judge, and this isn't a threat, but how else can she make sure her son is safe? She wants to help him. J.R. reminds her she called him a monster jerk the other day, but Babe retorts he was a pig and he was coming on to her, “You were drunk then, too.”

Ryan tells Kendall he and Greenlee are officially a divorce in progress. He should have told her about Jonathan in the hospital. Right before he was going to tell her, Jonathan called and freaked her out and she signed off on the divorce papers. Kendall asks what now? Ryan says now he’s going to help Jonathan turn himself in to the Pine Valley D.A.'s office. As soon as Livia gets this legal stuff all settled, if Greenlee still doesn't want him, then goodbye, Mr. and Mrs. Lavery. Kendall exclaims he adores that woman! Could he honestly just give up on Greenlee? Ryan replies it’s not about giving up, it’s about giving her what she wants. Why is it so important to her that he and Greenlee get back together? Kendall wants them together because they’re the top of the love pyramid, the Everest of romance. She’s never even come close to having what he and Greenlee have together. They give her hope that, if she’s lucky, maybe someday she’ll find something even half as amazing. Ryan hopes she finds it all, and she asks why he’s killing the dream? It’s bad enough that Greenlee wants to end their marriage, but watching him throw it all away? What about when he’s gone? Does he think she wants to spend the rest of her life listening to Greenlee complain there will never be another him? She'll mean that in a good way. Her jumping on this divorce is just typical Greenlee. It's impulsive, it's pigheaded, and it's wrong, but watching him sit back and letting it happen is just as wrong. Ryan kisses her forehead as he says he loves that she loves them, but she doesn’t have to get in the middle of this mess anymore. She deserves a love all her own. Kendall sighs if he only knew… Ryan asks knew what? Tell him.

Babe asks what he would do if she was knocking back a few and he saw her drive off to play with Little A? She understands that he’s hurting and doesn’t blame him, but scotch, rocks is no answer. Does he realize since Di left, Little A hasn't been to his play group once? She realizes that's not what most daddies think about, so she would be happy to take him. When J.R. accuses her of angling for more time with his son, Babe agrees she’s Little A’s mama and of course she wants more time with him, but she’s not trying to pull one over on him. She’s willing to help out, and will do it on his terms. He could even come to the play group with them if he wants. He’d really enjoy it. It's worth anything to see the look on their son's face. And who knows, he may even be able to crack a little smile, “And you happy is much better for our son than drunk and angry. So? What do you say? Do we have a play date?” J.R. gets a call and says he’ll be right there. Saying Babe could tell the judge whatever she wants, he leaves.

Kendall asks Ryan to promise her he won’t bike out of town yet and, despite this whole divorce thing, he’ll give Greenlee another chance. When Ryan agrees he’ll give her as many chances as she wants, Kendall calls that good, “She'll want one. I'll make sure of it.”

YOU’RE IN TROUBLE…

Zach goes to Fusion and tells Greenlee that’s admirable—lives lie in ruins and she can work on her latest lip-gloss! When Greenlee says Kendall isn’t here, Zach tells her he’s not here for Kendall, but for the hand that really rocks the cradle, “I’ve seen your future, Greenlee. You’re not going to like it.” She’s in trouble, and can't change this. Greenlee asks what’s his problem? When Zach says Kendall is divorcing him, Greenlee cheers her girlfriend’s finally come to her senses—she told her to divorce him the minute he tricked her into that wedding/business merger!
