ANOTHER YOU…

At the hospital, Erica says she couldn’t tell Tad and Jack when it first came to her; she just needed time to sort it out. Jack realizes she’s trembling, and asks what’s going on? Erica tells them she placed Greg Madden, and he’s not just some man she met at a party. She remembered his eyes, and she could see the bottom portion of his face covered by a surgical mask. And, she could hear his voice, telling her to relax and breathe. Greg Madden terminated her pregnancy when she and Jeff Martin were married. Jack asks if he knew this and hid it from her? Erica explains Greg said he thought it would be too inappropriate and indelicate to remind her and Tad wonders if Madden thought it would be more appropriate to let it come back and smack her in the face all on its own? When Jack repeats that he terminated her pregnancy and made Kendall’s possible, Erica insists it can’t be a coincidence. Tad adds that Kendall is still under his care and Erica says Madden made sure Kendall got pregnant by Ryan as some sort of sick plan. When she confronted him about Kendall, he didn’t incriminate himself in any way. Tad asks if she’s sure he didn’t give any hint about why he did this to Kendall? Erica says no, but wonders if he had some sort of transformation and subconsciously thinks that making Kendall pregnant somehow makes up for terminating her pregnancy years ago. Jack knows they have nothing to charge him with, as both Kendall’s and Erica’s procedures were legal. He can’t very well put him away for falling in love with her. Tad agrees, the prisons would be overflowing. Well, then all they’ve got now is one slick, smarmy doc, because he hasn’t been able to uncover anything from his past. When Erica says they’ll keep after him, Jack tells her no, he’ll handle it from here, and she never has to see him again. Erica protests that Greg Madden is still Kendall’s physician, and it makes her shudder to think of him playing God with Kendall and her baby! As Jack repeats he will handle Greg Madden from here on out, Greg comes in and asks, “Handle me how, Jack?” Jack tells the good doctor, “I hear you’re in love with my wife.” Greg’s sure he’s not the first man to love his wife from afar. Erica’s a happily married woman and he wouldn’t pursue another man’s wife. Jack notes he followed her all the way to Pine Valley, and then he withheld information about how they know each other. Tad adds that he coincidentally started treating Kendall as a patient. Greg repeats that Kendall and Greenlee came to his clinic because Ryan Lavery was a donor there many years ago. Tad calls that another coincidence, but Greg tells Erica he doesn’t mean her any harm. Jack says to save it, and Greg asks what he’s going to do, take him to court and tie him up with some frivolous lawsuit? Erica replies she’s not suing him, just stay away from her. Jack wants him to stay away from Kendall, too, but Greg thinks that will be Kendall’s decision. He asks, “What about my son?” Erica asks what about his son? She adores Josh, and isn’t going to punish him for something Greg’s done! Greg thinks it’s time he told Erica a few things about his son. Erica asks if he’s still hoping she’ll fire his son? Greg thinks she needs the facts about him. Erica guesses he’s still hoping Josh will leave television and go back to medicine, “Become another you?” Josh deserves better than that, and she intends to see he gets it. She may be finished with him, but Josh is her producer. They work beautifully together, and Josh will remain her producer as long as he wants to, and Greg can do nothing about that. She tells Jack she needs to get back to the office, and thanks Tad for all his hard work. She leaves, and Jack holds his lapels as he tells Dr. Madden to get over all this unrequited love he has for his wife! He releases him and leaves, but Tad tells Greg just because they don’t have anything to take to court right now doesn’t mean he won’t dig something up. Agreeing he’ll keep that in mind, Greg tells him to have a good day, and leaves.

HANDY IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY…

Jamie comes to the office door as Amanda stands in front of a camera and tapes herself, welcoming viewers to her show “Amanda, The New Beginning”. He listens as she continues, “This show is all mine, 100% Amanda Dillon, me all the way. You want me to give you what you want, and that’s what I’m going to do. You want me to be good. I will be the best. I swear, I will do you proud.” Jamie comes in and calls it done! Surprised, she asks what he’s doing here? Saying he came for some of this, Jamie kisses her. In the outer office, Josh watches and grins the scapegoat is screwing up yet again, “One step closer to taking down Erica.” Jamie and Amanda end their kiss, and he takes it that Erica has left the building. She agrees and turns off the camera before they go for an “X” rating; she wouldn’t mind Paris Hilton’s money, but she’s not after her internet video rep!
