Kendall reminds her she’s carrying Ryan’s child, and he wants to be a part of it. Ryan is free to do whatever and whomever he wants, but that doesn't mean she’s going to give her blessing to go after him. Julia maintains she doesn’t need her blessing, and is just trying to protect him. Kendall agrees she is, too, and she knows her a lot better than Ryan does. There's no way any man in his right mind could ever be happy with her! Julia asks what’s wrong with her? Does she need Zach and Ryan? Does she just get off on the war, two men fighting over her? Kendall claims she doesn’t want them to fight any more than she does, and Julia says to stop putting them at each other’s throats. If she keeps this up, somebody's going to get hurt. Kendall says she’s talked to both of them together and separately, and been honest with both of them. Julia calls it her kind of honest, and Kendall wonders what happened to her helping her be stress-free? She doesn’t care about her and this baby, she just wants to make sure they don’t distract Ryan away from her. Ryan comes to the door as Kendall tells Julia she doesn’t want to keep him from being happy, she just wants to keep him away from her! She suddenly doubles over, and Julia asks what’s wrong? Kendall thinks it’s the baby. Ryan rushes in as Kendall is pushing Julia away, and asks her to please let Julia help her. Kendall tells her where the pain is, adding she’d better not tell her it’s stress-related! Kendall balks when she wants to know what she’s eaten today, but Ryan says it's not like it's a national secret—please just tell her what she ate. Kendall reluctantly says she had a fresh-herb omelet, bacon, and grapefruit juice. Julia tells her it's not the baby, it's more than likely heartburn. Take an antacid, she’ll feel better. Kendall asks if that’s it? That's her big fat professional diagnosis? Ryan tells Julia what she means to say is thank you very much and she appreciates her help. He doesn’t really mean to break up all the fun, but he and Kendall have a lot to talk about. Julia leaves, and Kendall tells Ryan she’s late for work, she has heartburn, and she’s really not in the mood to discuss anything. Ryan insists they have to talk about the future of this child.

After Kendall takes the antacid, Ryan asks if she’s feeling better? She agrees, all good, but don’t expect her to call and thank Nurse Julia. Ryan asks what was going on there between the two of them? Kendall says she charged in here worrying about Zach going after him. Where the hell did she get that idea? Ryan doesn’t know. Kendall tells him to keep a leash on her. Zach is not out to get him. She’s talked to him, and he knows how she feels about them both. No one's walking away, so they are in this together, and it's going to be fine, but Julia needs to rein it in. It's not like this is even her problem anyway. Unless… did he say something to her? Ryan says no, he didn’t, and the last thing he wants is trouble. If somebody starts it, it's going to be Slater, not him. He insists they have to talk about this now, figure out what they’re going to do, who's going to raise this child. They have to guarantee the best possible future for this baby. Kendall says she wants him to leave, and is stunned when he replies, “I want you to marry me.”

A REALITY CHECK…

Amanda wants to go with Jamie, but he reminds her she’s not exactly welcome at the Chandlers’. When Amanda worries that J.R. is just trying to keep him away from her, Jamie asks where the hell that came from? Amanda begs him not to go—if he goes, he may never come back to her! Jamie offers a reality check—he’s going to come back here because he lives here, not just because of her. Amanda says J.R. hates her so much. What if he says something so horrible that he wants her gone? Jamie wonders what she’s afraid he’s going to hear? If there’s something so horrible that he’s going to kick her out of his life, he’d like to hear it from her. Amanda insists she hasn’t done anything, but J.R. and Babe blame her for every little thing that goes wrong in this town. Jamie advises her to chill. If she hasn’t done anything wrong, there’s no reason for him to jump on the blame wagon. Amanda thanks him, saying he’s been so great to her. Maybe when he comes back… Saying he’ll keep her posted, Jamie leaves.

THEY’D HAVE TO BE INSANE!

Babe asks how they’re supposed to find everyone? Palmer thinks if he’s lucky, Adam and Krystal are off getting a quickie divorce. Tad doesn’t think so, as that wouldn’t account for Opal, Brooke and his father, and none of them would just go AWOL. J.R. says that doesn’t mean they’re together—Tad’s father wouldn’t cross the street at the same time as his father! Babe agrees, there’s no way her mama’s be having tea with Brooke and Opal, and for all of them to disappear at the same time is more than a coincidence. Palmer asks who in their right mind would put that lot together? They’d have to be insane!
