MAYBE YOU’LL GET YOUR WISH…
Kendall cries that her mother went insane! She stabbed Zach in the chest, “I can still see his face when the knife went in.” Ryan urges her not to do this to herself, but she angrily says not to touch her and pretend he cares about her! Ryan insists he does care about her, and she says he hates Zach as much as her mother does. She doesn’t understand how this could happen, how Erica could kill the one and only thing that makes her happy and that she loves! Ryan says she didn’t kill anything, Zach’s not dead, but Kendall knows he wishes he was. If he sticks around long enough, maybe he’ll get his wish! Ryan insists he doesn’t want Zach to die, but Kendall thinks that would be one less person to attack his freaky brother, or one less person to get in his face or get in the way of him and his child. His life would just be wonderful if the love of her life just dropped dead right now! Ryan tells her she’s completely off base, but Kendall asks if he’s in on this with her mother? It’s very convenient that he just happened to be here when they came in. Ryan tells her to stop. He has no idea why Erica did what she did or what’s going on with her, but it has nothing to do with her pushing the two of them together. He’s just trying to give her support and make this as easy for her as he can. Anything she needs, anything Zach needs, he’s here. Kendall says there is one thing she needs, “Why did you break into Zach's office? What were you looking for?” When Ryan is silent, she asks if he’s trying to think of some lie to cover up the truth? Well, it’s too late, Zach knows. He recorded the whole thing! He broke into his office, used Ethan and Simone as a decoy, so he must have been looking for something pretty damn good! Ryan says he was going on a hunch, and it’s nothing; word on the street is that Zach may be a threat to him. Kendall dismisses that, but Ryan insists he was just checking it out. He hasn’t found any proof yet, but if he does, he’ll tell her first. Kendall exclaims she’s sitting here right now not even knowing if he's going to wake up tomorrow, and just because he hates Zach is no reason for him to not tell her what he knows. He broke into his office, and freaked out when she told him that she was going to marry him again. He told her she had to know the truth, but won't tell her what that truth is. He’d better have a damn good reason for what he’s doing or she swears she will walk away from him and never come back; she’ll never speak to him again, and that includes the day she gives birth to his son, “Tell me right now what you know.” Ryan wants her to relax, but Kendall declares there are too many unanswered questions, like why did this happen, and what is going on with her mother, and did Zach even make it out of surgery. There’s one question he can answer for her, so please just tell her what he thinks Zach is hiding from her. She deserves to know! Ryan argues this is not about Zach, but about her and their son. He can’t just let Zach hurt her and get away with it—she knows him better than to think he would just back off! Ethan and Simone arrive as Kendall tells Ryan to go to Hell, and take his dirt on Zach with him! She storms off, and Simone goes after her. Ethan joins Ryan, and asks if there’s any word yet on his condition? Ryan says no, not yet. Kendall’s wrong about him wanting to mess with her happiness, and she's also wrong about him wanting Zach to die because if he did cause the blackout, he wants the son of a bitch alive so he can pay. Ethan asks if Kendall knows about the blackout? Ryan says no, he hasn’t said anything. He wants to be able to back it up first. Ethan suggests he may not have to say anything at all. He thinks his father might die, if for no other reason than to cheat him out of this war he started. He's got to make sure he can't win. Simone catches up with Kendall and says Zach could be in surgery for a while. Why doesn’t she let her take her home, get her something to eat? She’s sure the baby's hungry, and she looks like she needs to lie down before she falls down. Kendall asks if she hates Zach? Simone says no, but wants to keep that between them. In a twisted way, Ethan's much happier knowing that she hates his daddy as much as he does. Kendall sighs she can't make sense of any of this. Simone knows it’s a lot to deal with, and of course, there is still a chance that he didn't do it. But if he did, she doesn’t blame Zach for causing that blackout, for screwing up the whole Greenlee surrogacy thing.
