Janet feels the sting as Erica slaps Amanda and exclaims, “You ungrateful little bitch! How could you do that to me?” Stunned, Amanda asks why she slapped her? What did she do? Erica declares she knows very well why she slapped her—she should slap her head right off her shoulders! Because of this stupid, vicious little brat… “You may have ruined me!” She gave her the entry-level job of everyone’s dream, television, and how does she repay her? All the message sites and blogs are screaming that she’s out of control and “New Beginnings” is in jeopardy. Janet listens worriedly as Amanda asks what she has to do with that? Erica says thanks to her and her filthy trick, her reputation and credibility are on the line. How could she do that? How could she dose her with that medication? Doesn’t she have any conscience? Amanda asks what medication, but Josh tells her there’s no way out this time. They all know, so she might as well admit it. Amanda cries she would never… Josh asks what, give anyone drugs? Babe and J.R. agree they both know better, and finally, they can put her away. Amanda insists she would never do that to Erica, but Josh says he found the pills when she knocked her purse over, and he put them back. Derek asks where the pills are? Amanda protests she’s innocent, and he can’t search her purse without a warrant! Josh grabs it from her as he says Derek can’t, but he can! He finds a bottle of the same anti-psychotic they found in Erica’s bloodstream, and Janet gasps as Jack tells Amanda this is going to just kill her father. Poor Trevor! When Jack asks how she gave the pills to Erica, Amanda insists it wasn’t her! Erica thinks she slipped them in the tea she gave her to drink, but Amanda says she didn’t make the tea—Josh did! She turns to him and exclaims, “You dirty S.O.B.! I didn’t drug Erica, you did!” She accuses him of setting her up; he took the pills out, slipped them in Erica’s tea and had her give it to her. Jack asks why Josh would do that? Amanda says he’s been doing this kind of thing, maybe building up to this moment since she started working there. She would get to work and Josh would ask her about something he supposedly asked her to do, and she wouldn't know what he was talking about. Josh calls them her lost hours, the psychotic episodes, but Amanda goes on that he knew she couldn't remember stuff, so he made her think she was messing up at work. Josh calls her a walking disaster; she said Erica and her mother were tight, so he tried to cover for her. J.R. notes this isn't the first time she's misused meds, and Babe agrees it’s practically her M.O. When Amanda swears she didn’t drug Erica, J.R. thinks she’s the exception. She’s even dosed herself once to get Jamie's attention! Amanda calls it a stupid mistake, and Babe adds it wasn't the only time. She saw her score some kind of date rape drug at the mall. Derek notes it seems she has quite a history with drugs. Babe goes on that she got the drug to slip to Jamie so he’d marry her while he was high on that junk, but luckily, they found out in time. Erica gasps she’s had her on her payroll all these months, and none of them are safe! J.R. agrees, not unless she's locked up. Janet cries as J.R. asks why they’re all so surprised that she's lethal? Just check her bloodline! Amanda asks Erica why she’d hurt her? She’s been so great to her! She and her mother were close, and she admires her. Erica reminds her that she had to reprimand her on her job performance, and she did it in front of witnesses. She threatened to fire her. She stabbed a man and could have killed him, all because she had to have her revenge. Amanda insists Josh took the pills, and he drugged her! Erica repeats they were her pills, in her purse. Jamie muses that Amanda never told him she was taking anything, and suggests maybe Josh planted the pills. Josh thinks he’s making as much sense as his little girlfriend! Jamie looks at the bottle and sees it’s her mother’s prescription, “What are you doing with Janet’s meds?” Amanda says she forgot she had them—he has to believe her! It’s no big mystery. The last time her mother was here, she dropped them, she forgot to mail them to her. Derek wants to know when Janet was last here? This prescription was just filled in Pine Valley. Amanda agrees that’s because her mother was just here; Babe talked to her in the park. Her mother was in town, so she has her pills; so do about 85% of the women in Pine Valley. Jack says not the same pills that were found in Erica's bloodstream, and their mothers don't have the same history hers does. Did she tell her mom that Erica humiliated her in front of her co-workers? Amanda says it wasn’t that big a deal; she is not on the witness stand, and they cannot make her talk against her mother! They’re all after her, just like the whole town was after her mother. It was a big old witch-hunt just like this!
