WE’RE ALL FIGHTING FOR THE SAME THING…

Dixie watches through the window as J.R. trains the gun on Krystal and says she’d better get her Baby Doll down here in a hurry, “It's just a matter of time before mama's pushing daisies.” Krystal asks if he really thinks Babe is going to believe that text message he sent? She knows he’s not a killer! Dixie goes to the front door so she can hear better as Krystal asks if he thinks Babe’s going to hand over her son to a gun-wielding maniac? He’s going about this the wrong way—he’s not going to get him back like this! She notes the Don Corleone routine leaves a lot to be desired, and J.R. shouts she’s making this real easy for him! As Dixie reaches for the doorknob, she hears a car and hurries out of sight. J.R. and Krystal also hear it, and Krystal shouts for help. Tad bursts through the door, and Krystal calls out to be careful—he’s been drinking! J.R. orders him to get out, but Tad tells him Babe doesn’t have his son. J.R. retorts that Babe has his son and he has her mama, “That's what we like to call a little trade-off.” When Tad says Janet Dillon has them, she took both Babe and Little Adam, Krystal gasps and asks if he’s serious? Tad agrees Amanda confessed to as much. Krystal furiously asks J.R. if he heard that? This whole time, he’s been badmouthing her Baby Doll and she didn't have a damn thing to do with it! J.R. sneers her Baby Dollis is a whore and a liar, just like her mama. And, Tad’s been known to choke out a few lies to buy time for Babe and Jamie to run off with his boy before! Adam rushes in; he takes in the situation and demands, “Have you lost your mind, boy?” Just look at himself! He’s drunk, bleary-eyed, brandishing a weapon, “Get hold of yourself!” Tad moves the liquor bottle as Adam goes to Krystal, and J.R. tells him to leave her where she is. Adam refuses, and J.R. insists it’s the only way he can get his son back. Tad urges J.R. to take it easy as Adam unties Krystal, asking J.R. if he thinks Janet Dillon gives a rat's tail that he has Krystal tied to a chair? J.R. shouts it is not Janet! Tad and Jamie made that up so Babe could have more time to run. Tad tells him to just listen to him. Janet Dillon attacked David Hayward, and fought with Jamie. It’s a fact, she has Babe and Little Adam. Krystal frantically asks if he thinks they’ll find where they are? Tad admits they don’t have much yet, but they’re working on it. J.R. calls it an act, but Adam tells him it’s the truth. Tad goes on that Amanda confessed to all of the weird things that have been happening around here on her mother's behalf. It was all Janet's doing, Babe falling down the stairs, everybody being poisoned at Thanksgiving, Little Adam disappearing at Christmas, Di falling through the ice, even the explosion at the ball. J.R. argues that Babe’s and Little Adam’s bags were packed, and there was money missing out of their safe. Dixie listens as J.R. insists Janet is a nut case, but there's no way that she could plan all of that. Tad tells him she knocked five grown people unconscious, ripped them out of their shoes, locked them in a truck, and then drove it into quicksand. Adam agrees she’s deranged, but she's shrewd. Remember, she stayed in their house when Natalie was there. She knows the tunnels inside and out, and where the safe is, “And Amanda turned in her own mother!” J.R. refuses to believe it, but Tad warns if he doesn’t start believing, he may not see his son ever again, “Now get rid of the gun and let's start looking for him.” J.R.’s not buying this bogus story and he’s not giving up the gun! Adam pleads with him to listen to him; everything Tad said is the truth. J.R. can’t believe he’s defending the guy who was all too happy to tell him that Miranda wasn't his daughter but conveniently forgot to tell him his son was alive. His words mean nothing to him! Dixie listens as Tad says he hated lying to him; it still bothers him and he’d never do it again. J.R. wonders how many times he told his mother that, he’d never lie to her? Everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie! He’s calling the shots, and the gun stays! Exasperated, Krystal stands and says to let him keep his stupid gun! She’s going to go find her daughter and her grandson. When J.R. levels the gun at her again, Adam steps in front of his wife and tells J.R., “You want to threaten Krystal, you're going to have to shoot me first.” Did he steer him wrong when they went after Little Adam the first time? They worked together to bring the little boy home. J.R. snaps that was before his wife batted her fake eyelashes and he switched sides! Stung, Adam tells him never to say that. His grandson means more to him than his own life, and he would never cover for anyone at his expense. Dixie listens intently as Tad tells J.R. he swears to him on his mother’s memory that he’s wrong, Babe doesn’t have Little Adam. What would she have to gain by running away with him now?
