From Karen Watkins, for About.com

Di thinks he’s the fool, believing Dixie could be manipulated into running away with him if she didn’t want that. She does things for her reasons and her reasons alone, and Tad is the same way; by backing her into a corner, he destroyed any hope he might have had with her. Really, she thinks he just wanted to score one over on Tad! She wanted Tad to love her for herself, so whatever happens now is up to them. David mutters if Dixie is stupid enough to want Tad Martin… She should have left with him! Di calls that pathetic. Look what he did to those two boys just now. What, he can’t have her, so he wants everyone else to hate her, he wants her to be miserable? Does he call that love, when he goes and tries to hurt the people that mean the most to her? He kept her secret as long as it served his purpose, but when she shut him down, he tries to spread as much pain as possible. It’s pretty vicious! He pretty much deserves whatever hell he’s going to. David thinks he’s going to have some pretty good company when he gets there. And after what Tweedledee and Tweedledum just did to him, he wishes them their own kind of hell.

THE AFTERMATH…

Jamie is sitting at the newly rebuilt Roadside Bar, nursing a beer, when drunk bumps into him and suggests he move down the bar a few stools. Jamie turns to face him, and the guy asks if he’s got a problem? Jamie coldly says he’s his problem. When the guy asks if he wants to take this outside, Jamie warns he doesn’t want to mess with him, not tonight.

Back at the mansion, J.R. trips over a toy and shouts at Winifred that he almost broke his neck! Is she just going to leave Little A’s toys all over the place? Winnie hastens to pick things up, and Babe asks J.R if that was really necessary? When J.R. tells her not to say anything, Babe snaps that he may think he can order the staff around like that, but she’s his wife. Just talk to her! If he shuts her out every time something happens, then they don’t have anything at all together. J.R. admits she’s right, he shouldn’t shut her out, “Old habits, I guess.” Babe says then talk to her, please. J.R. sighs it took everything for him not to lose it on Hayward totally. He guesses he and Jamie should have walked away, and he’s sorry. Babe thinks he should say that to Winifred, and J.R. thanks her, agreeing he will. Babe asks if he remembers that wedding they just had? Being partners is part of the package. She may not know what to say every time, but she will do what she can to make him feel better, “That’s my job.” J.R. says he loves her, and he knows what she can do to make him feel better. Babe laughs she bets he does. J.R. smiles as he says even better than that.

Jamie repeats he’s really not in the mood for this tonight. The guy shoves him, and Jamie warns he’s going to get more than he bargained for—just go home and sleep it off! When the guy provokes him, shoving the stool out from under him, Jamie knocks him out with three punches, and leaves the bar.

As Di is leaving the boardroom, Tad comes in and accuses, “You knew.”

Dixie goes to the Chandler mansion; she takes a deep breath and knocks on the door.
