From Karen Watkins, for About.com

Adam thinks some discipline's in order, but she tells him they’re so much alike. Look at him and Krystal. She bets when he fell for her, all his friends and lawyers screamed "Anna Nicole," right? Or at least just screamed. But he didn't listen. He went after what he knew was right for him. J.R. hides his amusement as Krystal tells her it was mutual. Colby says yeah, right. Her dad's powerful, handsome, and fully loaded, “Krystal, you get what I'm saying, right? You know what a super-strong man you married, how safe he makes you feel?” Krystal wouldn't exactly say "safe"… Colby tells Adam she’s missed her whole childhood with him. That's why she knows he’ll take care of this, “You owe me.” Adam asks, “Sweetheart, I owe you because your mother took you away from me?” Colby nods that she packed her up and left as if she were one of her dresses or a piece of jewelry, but Adam insists they both loved her very much. Colby protests, “But you never came to get me, Dad. No matter how hard I wished or how many extra prayers I said at night, you never came.” Adam tells her he tried; he did everything he could for years to try to locate her. Her mother had no right to steal her away from him, “You're my little girl.” Colby goes on that her mom had her watched practically all the time. If she wasn't around, there was a maid or a nanny. Every phone call she made was monitored, and her mom refused to let her get a cell phone in case she wanted to call him. J.R. asks if she was never alone at a friend's house or a pay phone? Colby says sure, but by then Liza had done her damage, years of "your father never wanted you. He was glad we left. Your father didn't even suggest joint custody." Adam exclaims those are all filthy lies, every one of them! Krystal wonders, “Colby, if you really bought Liza's version, why did you risk jail to get here?”

When Colby says she shouldn't be talking about this in front of strangers, Krystal tells her she’s her ever-loving stepmother. They’re family. So, why was she so confused that she hated her father one minute and then ran him to feel safe the next? When Colby says it was the drugs, Adam gasps, “You’re on…” Colby says no, not street stuff, not anything. That's just the point. Liza wanted to zone her out on drugs for ADHD. Adam asks, “You have Attention Deficit…” Colby goes on that Liza just wants her Stepford child who won't talk back. She got some quack to prescribe meds for her so she could make her own life easier. Adam questions if she’s saying that Liza forced her to take medication? Colby agrees she was about to, and that’s when it hit her. Liza never cared about her, she just took her to hurt him, “And since I'm not some tiny kid she can order around like I'm her stupid little purse dog, she wants to fog me with meds.” Krystal asks J.R., under her breath, “I wonder how long before I want to do the same.” Colby goes on that that’s why she came to her dad, even after all the trash Liza talked about him. She had no place else, and she had to know if he cared at all. If he wants, she’ll go. Adam exclaims, “Like the devil you will! You're going to stay right here where you belong.” Colby calls that cool, and says she knew Liza was a lying sack. She asks if anybody knows this hot doctor at the hospital? So hot you puddle? You'd notice and remember him? Dark hair, sort of perfect? J.R. protests anybody who’s got an M.D. after their name is too old for her, “Start with high school. Work your way up from there, okay?” Krystal thinks maybe she wants to rest for a while, and Adam suggests they go upstairs and get her settled in. Her old room is still waiting. Colby agrees she’ll start redecorating later today. She asks Krystal, “My dad hasn't gotten you pregnant yet? He must be slipping.” She goes upstairs with Adam, and Krystal sighs, “I love my life. I love my life.”

Babe tells J.R. she heard voices in Colby's old room. What's going on? J.R. says Colby’s back, and Babe thinks he must be happy. J.R. suggests they just say that earthquake was a warning tremor. Colby's going to knock this house off its foundations! Babe says to stop it—she can’t wait to see her. “Wait till you talk to your mother,” J.R. replies. They start to leave, opening the door as Josh is about to knock. J.R. tells him he was suspended fair and square. If he’s looking for more trouble, he’d suggest he stay out of his way. Josh accuses, “You did it. You killed my father.”
