From Karen Watkins, for About.com

Josh starts to leave, but Erica catches his arm and introduces Donny to her marvelous son. When she introduces him to Jeff, Donny recognizes the name and asks if he wasn’t a husband? Erica laughs and introduces him to Jack, her current husband. She introduces her daughters, and Kendall thinks maybe Donny and Marie can give her brother some advice on how to get along with your siblings. Donny says she’s the little bit country, and he’s the little bit rock and roll; he gets it. Josh thinks it’s more like Kendall’s a little bit crazy. Erica laughs they joke around all the time, and Donny wonders how many shows Erica could do about this family? He’s talking serious reality show! Do they sing? Erica suggests before they roll in the piano, would he like to join his guests? Kendall and Zach go to the bar for a cocktail, and Donny tucks Erica’s arm in his as he asks if she’s thought about conquering Broadway next year?

Kendall asks Zach if she can buy him a drink? She owes him one for restraining himself. Zach asks about what she said to Josh, the man she thinks he is, “Did you mean that?” Kendall asks if he doesn’t believe her when she tells him she loves him and think he’s wonderful and a perfect stepdad for Spike? Because she does. Zach thinks that’s good to hear. Kendall says she defended him on reflex, but she meant every word she said. And, how can she expect Josh to get past it if she can’t? Zach asks if the past is the past? Kendall agrees it is, and the future is whatever they want it to be, starting now with their new home. She knew the second she walked in there, there was no way she was going to let Babe and J.R. get that house. She knew it was theirs! She knew exactly where they were going to put the Christmas tree. She imagined him decorating it with Spike, lifting him up to put the angel on top. She pictured them in the pond, teaching Spike to swim and then how to play hockey when it froze over. It’s like they already had a history there, and continuing it was the right and natural thing to do. She suddenly felt like all her dreams were right in front of her, and they can still live them. She suggests ditching this party, going home right now to see their new place! Zach takes her hand, and they hurry out.

Erica says she’s very excited to share this evening with her guests, and promises that during this sweeps period, “New Beginnings” is going to be even more inspiring and more fun, and give more hope to their audience than ever before. Her good friend, Donny Osmond, has agreed to be the lead guest on their brand new show, and he’s going to give them all the highs and lows of his new beginning on Broadway in “Beauty and the Beast”. Donny guesses with a beauty like Erica, that makes him the beast. Erica laughs there’s no way he’s a beast, and she’s sure that’s why they cast him as Gaston. She tells her guests to enjoy the rest of their evening, and don’t forget to tune in “New Beginnings”! She and Donny leave the microphone to applause, and he says she is such a pro! Donny tells Erica he has to leave if he’s going to get home before dawn, and she thinks if tonight is any indication, they’re going to love them together on camera. Donny agrees, and she suggests the next time he comes, bring the rest of his family. Donny jokes he doesn’t know if she has enough room! By the way, where did all her husbands go? Erica says her ex-husband, Jeff, is with their son, and Jackson had to take a phone call. Donny thinks she’s doing some job of juggling the husbands, but Erica laughs it’s no sleight of hand. She’s happily married, and Jack and Jeff both know where they stand.

Jeff watches the exchange and comments Erica pulls it off again. Josh wonders if Dad is aiming for an encore with Mom? Jeff asks where that came from? Josh says every time he looks at her. He knows he said it was cool to make a play for a married woman if her marriage was unhappy. He wants him to follow in his footsteps! Jeff insists it’s not like that, and Josh advises him to run while he can. He survived Erica once—be happy! Jeff asks Josh to do him a favor, let Erica enjoy tonight. He doesn’t need any more trouble from him. Josh protests that’s his greatest talent, causing trouble and busting up lives. Just ask… Jeff asks who, Babe? Josh wonders if he hasn’t heard? He told J.R. about him and Babe; he thought he could protect her. Jeff gasps, “What?” How did he take it? How did Babe take it? Josh says J.R. doesn’t believe him, so his plan’s a wash. He was hoping they’d be history. It doesn’t matter if she hated him, just as long as she’d be away from J.R. Now, as soon as he tells her what he told him, he’s going to get the anger, and she’s not going to get her freedom. Jeff is sorry. Josh says he never cared what people thought of him or if they approved of him, but now all he can imagine is Babe sitting there looking at him with the anger and disappointment on her face, like a knife in his gut.

Jack returns and tells Erica that Sean had to take Lily to the emergency room; she got a cut, maybe needed a few stitches. Erica wants to go with him, but Jack insists he’ll take care of it; she should stay here, and he’ll tell Lily she loves her. He leaves, and Jeff tells Erica it looks like he’s her Number One escort after all.

Josh sees Erin, and asks if she remembers when she hit on him after Babe told her to go for it? Erin does—does he have to remind her? “Want to try it again?” Josh asks.
