Greenlee tells her, “The first time I saw him, you hustled him out of the room at warp speed. The second time, at the party, you went into the other room and hid. Do you honestly think that I could hurt him? I mean, of the three of us, I was the only one that wanted him. Now, of the three of us, I'm the only one who's never held him in my arms.” Kendall asks whose fault is that? She showed her the sonogram and told her, "This is your son." She begged her not to turn her back on him, “You had your chance, Greenlee. You had your baby, but you walked away.” Greenlee retorts that she walked away because her best friend stuck a giant knife in her back! Kendall sees, so everyone is to blame but her, “Me, Ryan, Zach?” Greenlee says no, she married Zach to hang on to a piece of Cambias for Bianca and Miranda. It was a business deal, a piece of paper, “You didn't love him, Kendall. You loved me.” Kendall hates to break it to her, but the Earth didn't stop turning when she left. Greenlee insists that Zach stole Spike, and he stole Kendall’s loyalty to her. “How did he get you to forgive him for pulling the plug on my life? Did he pull a miracle? I know he does like playing God.” Ryan tells her that’s enough, but Greenlee says it’s not, “I will hold that baby. I asked nicely. You shot me down. So now, we're going to court, and that's on you!” Kendall insists Zach acted out of love. He thought he was stopping her from doing something she would regret for the rest of her life, “You, as usual, were only thinking about you.” Greenlee argues that she didn’t ask for anything—she offered! Kendall exclaims, “Oh, my god. I gave my entire self over to you! I gave my body over to you and you jumped at the chance to use it. But then, when I gave you my egg, suddenly it wasn't good enough.” Greenlee says it wasn’t her call to make, but Kendall tells her she had no time! “I have no baby!” Greenlee cries. When Kendall says she did the best she could, Ryan tells them to take a minute here. He agrees he and Kendall hurt Greenlee, but that doesn’t give her the right to rip Kendall for loving her husband. Zach may have been on the outside when she left town, but he worked his way in, like it or not. “Not,” Greenlee snaps. Ryan tells her that’s the way it is, so she’s going to have to deal with it and brush that chip off her shoulder. If they both think about it here, they’ve kind of worked themselves full circle. “Because when we got married, Kendall felt excluded, right? And you welcomed her into our life, and now Greenlee feels excluded and you, Kendall, have to figure out a way to let her in.” His idea is that Spike's got two dads, but only one mom, so what's missing? She asked him to accept Zach as Spike's stepdad, and now he is asking her to try to find a place for Greenlee in Spike's life. Kendall says no! Spike already has one stepmother. Her name is Annie, remember? He just married her? She loves their son, she's taken care of their son, she knows him. This right here? This is not happening! Ryan asks Greenlee if she’d give them a moment, please. She nods and leaves the room.

Greenlee goes back into the office and sits down. Annie holds out a paper and tells her to sign at the bottom. Greenlee does, but Annie doesn’t move. “Is there something else?” Greenlee wonders. Babe says yes, actually. They got the rights to the music for the Fusion Green campaign. Di says they’re very happy with the outcome—is she? Greenlee is sure she will be. Di questions if she and Kendall have a marketing plan? Greenlee says it's in the works and if they’re "dying" to know what's going on in the other room, Ryan happens to be arguing her side to Kendall right now. Kendall asks if he thinks she’s going to let him give Spike a wicked stepmother? He got Greenlee's hopes up and now they’ll never be able to get rid of her. Annie, she could deal with, but one extra mom is her limit. He doesn’t get to use their son and pass him around to all of his needy exes. Spike doesn't exist to be Greenlee's teddy bear. Ryan reminds her, “If it wasn't for Greenlee, Spike wouldn't exist at all.” They love Spike more than anything, but he didn't come into this world because mommy and daddy were in love and they wanted to have a baby. Kendall knows how Spike came into this world—she’s his mother! Ryan agrees, now, but that wasn’t always the plan. Greenlee wanted a baby. She is the reason that they have Spike, “I mean, you were going to give her a gift. But really, in the end, she was the one that gave us one.” Kendall argues that she made her decision; now she has to live with it. Ryan sighs that they have so much. They’re both married to people that they love. They have beautiful children, more on the way. Spike started them down that road. Greenlee is the reason that they have Spike. They can't just say "Thank you, now get lost." Kendall asks why not? Ryan says because they owe her, and they always will, because Spike will always be their son. Kendall grumbles, “Why couldn't you just have stayed a con man? None of this need-to-be-fair B.S.” Ryan says because he’s a dad now. Kendall thinks the guilt is eating away at him for leaving Greenlee in the dust and for starting a whole new life without her. She's using that guilt to manipulate him. “So she deserves nothing?” Ryan asks. Kendall insists she made her decision when she left. She said that she hated her, and she told him to stay out of her life. Ryan nods, but she changed her mind. She came back. And now, it's like she's outside of this big glass bubble, and she can't get through, and she's looking in, and all she sees is everybody in there, the weddings and the parties, and life, and she's not part of it. He’s just saying the only way to make her stop is to let her in. Kendall says no, it’s a huge mistake. If he reaches out to Greenlee, she will chomp his arm off. Ryan thinks she just wants a chance. Kendall tells him the other night, during the storm, she looked right into Greenlee's eyes, and told her how sorry she was, and that she loved her and wanted to help her. Her response? She tried to put her husband in prison. “I'm telling you, Ryan, if you give Greenlee the tiniest opening, she will hurt you.”
