PEOPLE CAN DOCTOR PHOTOS…

“Ryan? Come on, it’s me, it’s Annie,” she tells him. Ryan moves away as he says yeah, she keeps saying that like he’s supposed to know who that is, but he doesn’t. What did she do—did she drug him? Annie says no! She tries to remain calm as she says he lives here. This is his home, and she is his wife. Emma returns, and Annie tells the little girl she thought she was supposed to be in her bedroom. Can she go pick out her cereal for breakfast? Emma leaves, and Annie tells Ryan if this is some sort of a joke, it stops here. He’s starting to scare her! Ryan says something is seriously wrong—he’s got to get out of here! He pulls clothing from a drawer as he says she keeps telling him that she’s his family, but he doesn’t know her, and he’s telling her that this is not a joke! Annie gasps, “My god, you’re serious, aren’t you? You really don’t know who I am.”

When Annie returns to the bedroom with a photo album in her arms, Ryan says he called a cab. She tells him no, he’s not going anywhere. Ryan insists he is, actually. He sees the album and asks what that is? She says this is their life together, remember? This is a picture of their wedding, the wedding that Greenlee interrupted? Ryan repeats, “Greenlee?” Annie shows him another picture, taken right after he found out that Emma was his. Ryan leafs through the pages, and she asks if he really doesn’t remember any of this? Ryan doesn’t understand. How did she get these? Annie repeats that these are pictures of their life together, the life that they’ve been building for two years. “Years?” he asks. She wonders if he knows what the date is today? Ryan says yes, he knows what the date is today, it’s… She tells him it’s February 1, 2008. Ryan goes to look in the mirror and says no, she’s wrong. Annie goes on that there’s a picture from the Miranda Center Christmas party, but Ryan doesn’t want to see any more pictures because people can doctor photos to make them look like something they’re not. Annie asks if he remembers his accident, the gunshot? He hasn’t been himself since. Ryan accuses her of trying to make him feel crazy, but he is not crazy—he remembers exactly who he is! “I am Ryan Aloysius Lavery. I have a younger brother, Jonathan, and I have a younger sister, Erin, who I haven't seen in a little while. And I am not married, but I used to be, to Gillian Andrassy.” Annie calls that good, he hasn’t forgotten everything from his past. Ryan counters, “Oh, I see, but just you, huh? You don't find that a little bit too convenient?” Annie tells him she spoke to the doctor after his accident, and he said he might have some kind of a delayed reaction to the head wound, some kind of a posttraumatic stress and… When Ryan agrees a doctor is exactly what he needs, Annie tells him she’ll call the therapist. Ryan says no, he wants to see Joe Martin.

RUNNING OUT OF TIME…

At the hospital, Kendall hears a nurse say they’ve got a code in Room One, and tells Zach that’s Greenlee’s room! They hurry to the room; Aidan gets there at the same time and asks what’s going on here? Kendall asks what’s happening, and Aidan calls out, “Greenlee, I’m right here, baby.” Joe insists they all clear the room; in the hallway, he tells them it’s all right now, Angie is stabilizing her. Aidan asks if she had another seizure? Joe says yes, she did. The toxin is attacking her heart and lungs, and her electrolytes are out of whack. She’s stable for now, but overall, her condition is deteriorating. Kendall doesn’t understand. Why isn’t the antidote working? Joe doesn’t know. When Aidan says there must be something more they can do, Joe agrees there is; he can call Jackson. Aidan already did. He left him a message—it went straight through to voicemail. Joe tells him to call him again. He wants him here in case they have to make a decision. Kendall asks what that means? “It means that Greenlee is running out of time,” he replies.

A nurse gets a drip going to level off Greenlee’s electrolytes; Angie calls that good, adding they have to make sure to keep an eye on the BP. Suddenly, Greenlee goes into convulsions. Aidan rushes to her, insisting that she needs him, and cries, “Greenlee, don't, don't. Please, please.”

THAT’S WHAT’S SO SAD…

J.R. comes into the parlor to find Adam already eating breakfast and asks if he started without him? Adam coldly replies that he wasn’t sure he’d be joining him this morning. When J.R. jokes that he wouldn’t miss out on one of Lucretia’s famous sweet rolls, Adam nods, “Ah, yes, free food, one of the many benefits of joining the family fold.” J.R. asks if he’s okay? Adam wonders why he wouldn’t be? J.R. says no reason, and Adam notes that he missed dinner last night. J.R. is sorry about that; he had some things he had to take care of. Adam wonders if he’s being purposely vague? J.R. shrugs he had a meeting, AA, and Adam nods, “Ah, yes, the hallowed 12 steps.” J.R. says that’s right. Did he do something to piss him off somehow? If he has something to say to him, spit it out. Adam has nothing to say to him, except that he’s got a lot on his mind, business. J.R. says speaking of business, he looked over that proposal that he and Barry drew up for his Internet project. He was thinking maybe they could discuss that over breakfast. Adam stands and says the proposal will have to wait. He has an overseas investor calling in five minutes. J.R. says okay, they’ll talk later. Adam is sure they will. J.R. leaves the room, and Adam closes the door behind him. Stuart comes in and excitedly asks if that was J.R. he saw leaving? It is so good to see him back in the house again. It’s beginning to feel like home! He’s taken aback when Adam demands, “That Judas? For all I care, he can go straight to Hell!”

When Babe arrives, J.R. wonders if he missed a play date? She tells him she’s not here about Little Adam, and J.R. asks if something’s wrong? She tells him no, she just wanted to say she’s sorry.
