Angie blocked the door and told Jesse, “You said you wanted to tell me what happened 20 years ago. Well, now I'm ready to listen.”
Jesse remembered that day like it was yesterday, getting shot, thinking he wasn't going to make it. He remembered her saying goodbye, and then, nothing. Things just went dark. Angie nodded, for her, too, because she lost the love of her life. What happened? Jesse flashed back to being brutally kicked as a man shouted, “Man, you show your face and they die!” He told Angie he wouldn’t put her at risk; she would just have to take his word for it. If anything happened to her because of him… Angie said she had spent 20 years wishing he was with her, and if he left now, her life wouldn’t be worth a damn. They kissed with the desperation born of their lost 20 years, and made love.
THIS IS NO PUBLICITY STUNT…
Erica told the reporters her arrest was just obviously a gross misunderstanding, or a horrible publicity stunt. Samuel told her it was no publicity stunt. She’d been charged with insider trading, a federal offense. Kendall wanted to go with her, but Erica insisted she stay; she and Jack were going to straighten the whole thing out at the police station. All of the Fusion women pulled together to do some damage control. As Erica was put into an unmarked car, Samuel told her they were serious and his office was intent on prosecuting. A reporter asked, if she was convicted, did he expect Ms. Kane to serve jail time? Samuel replied, “When she's convicted? Absolutely.”
Ryan thought Kendall would have been happier going with Erica, adding he was just trying to help. Zach suggested, “If you want to help somebody, why don't you help your wife? She could use a little.” Throughout the evening, Annie watched as Ryan looked at Kendall.
Zach told Kendall not to worry about her mom. She'd gone through worse than this.
When Greenlee worried that all this stress wasn’t good for Kendall’s baby, Aidan repeated, “Baby?” Kendall told him she took the test and she wasn't pregnant.
YOU ARE GOING TO BE SO SORRY…
At the station, Erica told Samuel he was going to be so sorry he ever messed with her! Jack wondered why Samuel had it in for Erica, and didn’t think he had a case or he wouldn’t have staged that circus at the fashion show. After Erica was booked, Erica told Jack she had an idea how to make this all go away. Jack said as her attorney, he very strongly suggested that she keep her mouth shut and let him handle this. Erica didn’t believe she was going to need his services any longer, “Because you're fired.”
ONE SURPRISE AFTER ANOTHER…
At ConFusion, Ava told Colby she wouldn’t worry about Erica, as rich people could buy their way out of anything. Amanda said not necessarily, “Hello? Does the name Martha Stewart mean anything to you?”
Kendall told Greenlee, “So, way to keep a secret.” Greenlee was sorry, but wondered how the subject came up between the two of them in the first place.
As they come into the club, Annie sighed that she was sad about how the night ended. Ryan agreed, it was really rough on Kendall, wasn’t it? Annie sharply said she was referring to Erica.
As Greenlee urged her to take the damn test already, Zach brought a bottle of tequila to the table. Kendall toasted, but chose not to drink. When Annie proposed a toast to memories, Ryan knew that toast was directed towards him. He insisted he wanted to remember, but Annie thought this whole memory-loss thing was just another one of his cons, a really, really clever way to get out of being married to her and go back to Kendall?
As they polished off two more shots, called it quite a night, one surprise after another. Aidan agreed, “Yeah, who would have thought that Kendall might've been pregnant?” He choked on his drink when Greenlee exclaimed, “Shh! Why do you keep bringing that up? It's not like you're the father.”
WHEN ERICA KANE SPEAKS, PEOPLE LISTEN…
Erica apologized for her earlier outburst and asked Samuel, "What would you say if I told you that I have something you want that money cannot buy? Would you be interested? Strictly off the record?” She offered her influence for his upcoming Senator seat, saying she just wanted him to take a second look at her case. So, did they have a deal? Jack came in and asked, “So what's going on in here?”
AND IF YOU WERE…
Annie wanted to go home, but Ryan wanted to stick around a little bit. She should go ahead. Annie coolly said sure, take his time.
Greenlee convinced Kendall to take the test. Aidan asked Kendall, “Did you not take the pregnancy test because you thought the child was mine?”
OH, GOD, NOT AN AGREEMENT…
When Erica told Jack she and Samuel Woods had reached an agreement, Jack groaned, “Oh, god, not an agreement—what were the terms of this agreement?” Samuel returned with Derek and two officers to take Erica to her cell. The changes to the indictment just came down, “In addition to other offenses, Ms. Kane is now charged with attempting to bribe a public official.”
ANYTHING I WANT?
J.R. wanted to get the rules straight, and Babe called it very simple, “If I win, you agree to be Richie’s bone marrow donor.” J.R. asked, “And if I win, I get anything I want?” She smiled and nodded; J.R. told her to deal the cards.
ONE LAST LOOK… When he went home, Ryan was taken aback by Annie’s sexy negligee´ and told her she looked amazing, but… Annie didn’t need him to tell her again that he didn’t remember what they had or that he was in love with Kendall, “All I need you to do is take one last look at what you're missing. And then, get the hell out.”

After making love, Angie ran her fingers across the scars and asked, “Jesse, tell me about this. Please. You never shut me out before. Don't start now.”
