From Gloria and Karen, for About.com

LEFTOVERS:

Karen: Where are they going with the whole Ryan losing his memory of the last four years thing? Are Annie and Zach right that Ryan doesn’t really want to return to the present?

Gloria: I think Ryan would love to give up his life with Annie.

Karen: I don’t know. He seemed perfectly happy with his life until the day he woke up and couldn’t remember it… And, that begs the question, what caused him to go back in time to that place with Kendall?

Gloria: Maybe that stuff about “true love” only happens once? Got me. <grin>

Karen: It’s starting to look like Greenlee still wants Ryan, isn’t it? And what about Kendall? Is she crazy?

Gloria: I have no idea why Ryan is becoming so attractive to his past loves.

Karen: Nor do I!

Gloria: I mean, really…can any guy have that much charisma? Oh, yeah…Zach???

Karen: When will Tad act on his uneasy feeling about his uncle?

Gloria: Let’s hope sooner rather than later. <grin>

Karen: Absolutely! I’m just worried that Krystal and Angie are so taken in by him and so grateful to him.

Gloria: Ugh!!! How can people be so blind?

Karen: I’m beginning to think more and more that Tad and Jesse will become partners in the P.I. business. Aidan kind of insinuated that he was thinking of leaving, but I would guess Zach’s job offer will be rescinded when the truth comes out about Aidan and Kendall sleeping together!

Gloria: Why can’t we have three detectives? What’s the difference between two or three do nothing detectives? <grin>

Karen: Good point! On the other hand, though, I can’t imagine that Angie would be any happier about Jesse being a P.I. than a cop.

Gloria: Since nearly everyone on the show can be a “Jack of all Trades” we could just invent a profession!!! Of course, no one really works anyway. <grin>

Karen: Loved Carmen’s being so happy that her dress wasn’t a knockoff! <grin>

Gloria: I think the Erica/Carmen pairing has been a bit fun.

Karen: I hate the whole Erica-going-to-jail thing, but I agree, Carmen has infused some interest into it.

Gloria: “Some” being the word of the day. <grin>

TODAY’S THOUGHTS:

Karen: Great news—TPTB took your wishes to heart and are bringing back Jenny and Greg! April Fool! <grin>

Gloria: I’ve heard rumors, though…

Karen: I really liked the conversation Jesse and Samuel had; it brought out more of Samuel’s humanity than anything we’ve seen of him before.

Gloria: It’s like backtracking to endear us to him.

Karen: Richie is calling J.R. the bad penny that just keeps turning up??? Wow, talk about the pot calling the kettle black!

Gloria: Or “has he looked in the mirror lately?” <grin>

Karen: At least Babe got a glimpse of the real Richie today. I just hope she doesn’t forget about it in her concern for J.R.

Gloria: Have I mentioned lately that I dread this storyline? <grin>

Karen: It’s so great to see Opal in a story again…let’s just hope this won’t be the last we see of her. I’ve got a bad feeling about this, I’m afraid.

Gloria: This whole thing worries me, but I’ll take it for some airtime for our beloved “gal pal.”

Karen: I was concerned about Opal not seeing through Robert, but at least it now appears that she’s about to get Richie’s number, thank goodness! I just hope she doesn’t put herself in danger as a result…

Gloria: Palmer to the rescue? Perhaps?

Karen: Shouldn’t Colby have called Tad, too? Well, hopefully, Krystal will call him.

Gloria: Sure, but this is for the drama effect.

Karen: Now that Angie, Jesse and Frankie are back, I wonder how long it will take for Frankie’s child with Mia to surface.

Gloria: It’s times like this that family just seeps from the woodwork. <grin>

Karen: Loved Erica saying the men she had made bad choices with would read like a roll call!

Gloria: Well, it’s only an hour show!

Karen: How great to see Mark again!

Gloria: Why can’t they all come back—permanently?

Karen: It broke my heart to hear Carmen talk about only being valuable through the guys she was with. I know this is a soap opera, but there are so many women who do feel that way, especially those with lousy fathers who walked out when they were just children. Unfortunately, it takes more than just a pep talk to make that go away…

Gloria: When it gets so real-life like that, it breaks my heart, too. Fortunately, they don’t go too much in depth on those topics, just scratch the surface on occasion so it doesn’t get too depressing for the fans.
