Adam is in the library when J.R. comes in. He tells his son he looks better, “Let me know if there's anything I can do to facilitate your recovery.” J.R. wonders, "’Help me on the wagon’, you mean?” Adam says he was wrong to assume that he'd fallen off the wagon, “My bad.” J.R. chuckles and says so he believes him now? What changed? When Adam says he’s still his son and he still loves him, J.R. notes that hasn't always been a plus. What does he want? Adam replies, “J.R., for God's sake, somebody came after you and they hurt you. I realize that now. I realize that. We're not going to let them get away with it.” J.R. smiles faintly and repeats, “We?” Adam says yeah, “we”. “Two Chandlers, you and me, together. We team up, we can get anything we want.” When J.R. doesn’t reply, Adam says trust has never been an easy thing for either one of them, but he’s willing to try if he is. If he tells him he’s been kidnapped, if he means it, he’ll believe it. And if he thinks he’d recover more quickly here, as long as he hasn’t stopped by to spy on him, then feel free to call this home for as long as he’d like. J.R. wonders if this is where he gives him that "family heirloom" secret decoder ring so he can spy on him? Adam laughs that he’s proved his point! They shouldn’t be working against each other. They know each other too well, they know each other's tricks, “Come on, let me help you.” When J.R. repeats that he’ll take care of it, Adam insists there’s got to be some way he can prove to him that he wants to move on, be a family again. J.R. agrees there might be something.

Krystal asks the birthday girl if Jesse told her the amazing story about her namesake? Jesse agrees he sure did, “But, hey, the rest of this day is all about you, Jenny Jr.” Everyone laughs, and Ruth says that nickname is going to stick.
Tad goes to the door and greets Aidan, saying it’s nice that he could make it. “Well, I wouldn't miss a game of sticking the tail on the ass,” Aidan replies. Tad says no, it’s donkey, and tells him he’s got to get back to the office; there's a special case waiting for him on his desk. Aidan says to at least let him come in and have some cake first, but Tad tells him now rather than later. This is kind of a missing-person thing, it's important. Aidan thinks it’s still going to be missing after the candles are blown out, but Tad insists it’s a special favor. Agreeing to save him some cake, he takes the gift from Aidan’s hand and closes the door in his face. As Aidan sighs and turns to go, Annie arrives with Emma. He tells Emma that’s a pretty dress she’s wearing, and Annie that he’s sorry about the other night. She says it’s all fine, but he goes on that what went down with him and Kendall… He thinks she should know that… He breaks off as Zach arrives with Rachel, Ian and Spike.
Aidan says just in time, and Zach wonders if he’s coming or going? Aidan tells him he’s got things to do, and Zach nods, then they’ll go inside. Annie asks Emma if she wants to go with Uncle Zach? Emma nods, and goes in with Zach, Rachel and the boys. When the door closes behind them, Aidan tells Annie again that he’s sorry. It was a weird night, he was at Fusion, he had a few too many, he never should have shown up at her place. Annie wants to just forget about it, but Aidan tells her the things he said, that whole thing with him and Kendall… Annie raises an eyebrow and asks, “The thing about you two ‘feeling guilty’?” Aidan says yeah, he just had too much grog, too much of grandmother's medicine. He was blabbering on at the mouth, that's all. She shrugs, whatever, and goes inside. Zach asks what happened out there? Is she okay? Annie tells him everything’s good, and notes everyone is in full party mode. Zach notes it seemed like he knocked some of the party out of her. Annie tells him Aidan just has a lot going on, that's all, and suggests to Emma that they go say hello to the birthday girl.
As all of the children go to the kitchen for ice cream, Opal tells Babe that Little Adam is just growing like crazy—he reminds her of Petey at this age! Babe wonders how Petey likes his new housemate? Opal shrugs, “Well, you know, Petey's off with his daddy a lot, which is good because Richie isn't exactly simpatico, you know?” Babe asks if he’s being a pain? She’ll talk to him. Opal tells her she can handle men with bad attitudes—she’s had plenty of practice. Babe says she really appreciates her taking him in. It won't be much longer now—he should be getting better every day. Opal replies, “Well, I wouldn't stand close to him during an electrical storm.”
“Wardrobe change number one!” Krystal announces as she returns with Jenny, “Yes, thank you, Grandma and Grandpa Martin.” As everyone fusses over Jenny, Frankie arrives. Colby rushes to greet him, and takes the gift he brought. She thanks him, and Frankie notes it’s for Jenny. Colby knows; she meant for these shoes. He replies, “Oh. Looking good.” She asks if he wants some punch, or a beer? When he wonders if she’s old enough to serve, she informs him she is old enough for a lot of things. Uncomfortable, Frankie says he’ll catch her later, and goes to join Dre. Colby mutters, “It's not like I'm going to run very fast.” Joe tells Angie and Jesse their son is a fine young man, adding that this makes two parties in two days, “I mean, the Hubbards have brought back a lot of joy to Pine Valley.” Jesse grins that the joy is just getting started. As he kisses his wife, Tad jokes, “You two, get a room.” He’s glad to see Zach made it, and Zach says there’s no place he’d rather be. Tad had his doubts, what with the Erica Kane dramatic rescue. How's she doing? “Not a hair out of place,” Zach grins. Tad isn’t surprised, and asks how Kendall is. Zach says she’s good; she’s with Erica now.
