Alicia Minshew (Kendall) introduced her new boyfriend, Richard. Tons of her fans gave her peanut butter, her favorite, but she had to pass some of it off to her folks.
Alexa Havins (Babe) and Justin Bruening (Jamie) shared they are dating in real-life. Vincent had warned them not to date, but he was too late with his advice--and he didn't even know it!
Alexa also shared that her family supported her acting career, but only after she finished college. Alexa hosted the motorcade and star conversations and did an excellent job...this interviewing gig could be her calling.
Justin shared that he was "discovered" for a model career after being stalked while working for McDonald's. Justin also showed the fans his tattos on his back...
We had a chance to wish Vincent Irizarry a "Happy Birthday" while there. Vincent and Michael E. Knight (Tad) commented on how old they were getting...they are taking longer to bounce back after David and Tad fight!
Michael so wanted to thank all the fans for his 20-year role as Tad, without the fans, he wouldn't still be here.
Eva LaRue (Maria) let it slip that Edmund has a revelation while in the hospital...then she zipped her lip! Eva also announced that she will be an "Extra" correspondent and will host the doing some interviewing on Entertainment Tonight on the weekends.
Thorsten Kaye (Zach) introduced his wife and new baby! He is also pushing for an Erica/Zach romance. I got a photo of them!
Jacob Young (J.R.) shared that he is broken-hearted after dissolving a four-year relationship. Jacob also shared that he was approached for an acting career while working at Denny's.
James Scott (Ethan) worked for StarBucks and hated it, especially at Christmas time.
Susan Lucci (Erica) shared that Helmut Huber (her husband) threw her a party and it will air on Party Planner sometime in December (2004). AMC is going to do a Broadway venue as J.R. helps with the benefit for Miranda. Alexa and Bobbie Eakes (Krystal) will get a chance to sing together. Be sure to pick up Bobbie's CD!
Walt Willey (Jackson) hosted the soap version of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" and really appreciated getting the air conditioned gig. He's stepping aside for the young ones to do the outdoor hosting!
Cameron Mathison (Ryan) more or less shared that he's finished with "taking off his shirt" anymore...not even a button was undone over the weekend.
Rebecca Budig (Greenlee) and her husband, Bob Guiney (Bachelor Bob) hosted together and Bob constantly kidded around that he hates it when Rebecca has to make out with Cameron Mathison (Ryan). They seem so happy and he was so grateful that AMC invited him to join the stars for the weekend.
Eden Riegel (Bianca) and Jacob Young sang in the street jam on both Saturday and Sunday evenings.
SOAPnet shot their shows from Super Soap Weekend and they are scheduled to air on December 6.
A great time was had by all and I wanted to thank all the stars for sharing the weekend with the fans.
